The person who came by was prompt and he did the work very first. We used them before and they were tough because they were busy trying to finish a big job. I told them I was going to call somewhere else if they didn't show up and he apologized but once he was here, he did his work and left. The only problem we had was that we had a remote we didn't tell him about so we didn't get it programmed in but that was no big deal.

It went very smoothly. I spent the day away from my home, and when I got home was so happy for all the hard work. Lonnie and Don were very respectful. As the saying goes and quot;They could put their name on itand quot; well done guys for every thing you did.
Description of Work: I was unable to have my electric fixed for a good 2 years. Grady recommended a new 200 AMP breaker box to replace the very debilitated one in my home. I was blessed to have this electrician fix my electrical problems in this very old house I live in. I cannot give his electricians enough praises for their quick and top quality work done in my home. They come with glowing references and highest recommendations from me. Grady is a Christian, and I know just what an honest man he is. Thank the Lord for this awesome electrician, he is the best of the best.

First of all, they installed a regular wall outlet in my floor. When I asked them if it didn't need a cover?? They said, oh, well, you want a covered outlet? As if it was a huge imposition. I have never seen a wall outlet stuck in a floor before, where it could get soda and food spilled on it, because we are a family with children!! Secondly, my outdoor floodlights had worked great for 2 years and recently had a bulb burn out. They were installed by Vand S but they were really high-priced so I didn't want to pay $100 just to replace a bulb. I asked the guy to check it out and replace it, if possible. He responded that the wiring was all 'messed up' and if I didn't want a fire, I should get it replaced. Of course, after he said that, I wanted it replaced. He even installed a dawn to dusk sensor so that we would not have to turn the llghts on, but they would come on automatically. Well, he installed new floodlights, charged me $700, and then left. The lights worked for ONE week and then shut off. I called Ed's Electric, and they said that they would send the repairmen that worked then out to check them. He messed around, got them turned on and left. Then two weeks later, they stopped working again. I called again, and this time I got this amazing story about how the tech had told me that the lights' location was and quot;too wet' and yet I had insisted on the lights not caring that it was TOO WET, and somehow this makes it not their fault. Instead it's all my fault for and quot;insisting' despite their tech's advice. They IGNORED the FACT that the light had worked for TWO year previous to their working on them. I wish I called So they lie about their inability to install things, about their knowledge about things, and then they always take other's words above the homeowners!! Another electrician came out and said it was probably a ground problem....fixed it...and now the lights work great. But Ed's Electric chose to refuse to even consider that they made a mistake and refused to make it right.;

He was very professional. He didn't come with an attitude. He did approach the job as a professional. He didn't try to add to the bill. He called before he came. He was on schedule and told me he would be there. He showed up when he said. I would use them again.

Description of Work: We recently called Ed's because of an outlet sparking and getting very hot. They were able to come out to our house within two days and diagnosed the problem as a loose wire. They inspected our current setup, recommended changes, and were very knowledgable and friendly. We paid $53 for this service.

i was called that the electriclan was on the way. he went right to work, diagnosed the problem, fixed it. my husband tried to replace the switch, and when he rewired it no lights came on. the electrician showed me that the gfi had been tripped and that was causing no power. but the wiring to the closet was hooked into this switch. he fixed that. he also fixed a light switch in a bedroom that my husband changed from a dimmer switch to just an ordinary switch. i was told that he had wired it backwards that was why the wall plugs would not work it the switch was turned off. he did all this under an hour and charged me for a service call. i will use them again. i would recommend them.
Description of Work: i needed a wall switch replaced in a bathroom. had no lites, even the closet lite didn't work. also a wall switch in a bedroom.

Work was done very well and has operated properly for 4 years. Ed's Electric was originally recommended by my realtor. I got an estimate. I was very satisfied with their work. The charge was as estimated.
Description of Work: I don't recall the exact amount. Ed's Electric replaced the electrical circuit box in a residence. They upgraded the wiring and put in circuit breakers.

The receptionist was very helpful with making an appt. and a few days later the electrician contacted me and set up a specific time. This alone is impressive because I called at least one other company that never even called back. I would say Ed's Electric is a professional company that is serious about taking care of its customers. I was pleased with the work done, the friendliness and knowledge of the electrician who did the work. We had a problem with ants infesting the meter box and he informed me of the dangers of infestation and knew how to fix the situation. He gave me pointers on keeping the ants from coming back which was much appreciated. The finished product was exactly what we asked for and is sure to suit our needs once the pool is up and running. The only thing I was not entirely pleased about: I was billed for 2.5 hours of work. He arrived between 2:20-2:30 p.m. and he was leaving just before 4:00 p.m. I understand they probably charge by half hour increments even if they just use a few minutes of that half hour, but by my calculations that is still not 2.5 hours. And if the case is that they charge for drive time... that's just not right by me. Anyway, he did a good job and I received exactly what I asked for and it looks very nice so I paid the bill without complaint (to them.) I would recommend Ed's Electric, but I also recommend to check your watch and write times down. That being said, I would also suggest to do that for ANY type of service calls.
Description of Work: We needed an outside receptacle installed on a utility pole near our meter box. We are installing an above ground pool and need power to run the pump/filter.

After recently buying a house and realizing it needed the entire electrical service replaced I started asking friends and family for suggestions. Was sent to Ed's Electric to get a estimate. After an estimate and talking to the bank they were on site the day I called and finished the rough in at the house in 3 days. Very professional crew that worked quickly and efficiently.
Description of Work: Electrical rough in on a 800 sq.ft. house. This included installing a new panel, ground wire and running all wires through the house.
