Work was completed in a very timely and professional manner. Very pleased with the product and the install work.

Atlas Safe Rooms is based out of Joplin, MO. The install was to take place in a home located in Haltom City, TX. The price included delivery and assembly of the 4x4 safe room. Delivery was contracted to Beaver Express. They were not equipped to deliver a 1,900 pallet to a home and left the delivery at the end of my driveway. Atlas was able to arrange an installer for the next day so that the product was not on the street for any extended time. Assembly was contracted out to Red Beacon. The installers were not familiar with the product or the installation procedure. What should have taken 1 hour (according to Atlas) instead took 4 hours. The install was not done correctly as the Hilti bolts were not properly installed at the required depth of 3'. Tommy from Atlas drove down from Joplin, MO to reinstall the Hilti bolts for the storm shelter, which required the original bolts be cut off, the unit being moved over a few inches, and new holes/bolts installed. The original sales person I dealt with vanished after the initial call. The young ladies at the main offices were helpful, but not very confident or knowledgeable about the product/process. Tommy was eventually the person I was put in touch with, and he was able to rectify the issues satisfactorily. Only $100 was offered as compensation for the frustrations I experienced. Overall I would recommend Atlas, but would also suggest that if you use them, it would be in your best interest to find out who the delivery company and installers will be and make sure they know exactly where the product is being delivered and that the installers know what they are doing. Side notes: Atlas requires 50% down upon ordering, and the balance upon completion. They do not give invoices, agreements, or bills until After the bill is paid in full. And if you have a lock on your unit, keys are withheld until after payment is received in full.
