About us

We are a locally owned small business with eight employees, in business since 1985. We still do things the old-fashioned way - you call, we deliver, and you pay the driver! Our construction business customers can opt to set up monthly billing, but our "one-time" customer deliveries are COD only. Most rock and dirt deliveries are done the day you call. Excavating requires advanced scheduling, but we are usually able to get to our customers within a few days.

Services we offer

Rock hauling from Anchor Stone, Joplin Stone, Carthage Stone, and more - rock for backfilling, under concrete, driveways, bedding water and sewer lines, etc. Our drivers can tailgate a load of rock if notice is given to the dispatcher when the rock is ordered. Our tandem axle trucks hold about 16 tons. Black dirt for yards and gardens - full truckload deliveries only (about 12 cu yds) Excavation - basements, crawlspaces, footings, driveways, etc. Finish grading for yards

Services we don't offer

We do NOT do landscaping! We will prepare your yard by grading and spreading black dirt up to the point of needing a landscaper, but we do not do the landscaping! We can tailgate rock out of the truck, but we do NOT hand rake or bring a machine to spread the rock unless you have made previous arrangements for a machine from us for finishing your driveway. As long as there are no overhead obstructions, our drivers can usually spread (tailgate) a load of rock with ease and expertise.

I've had good experiences with ATBT-Floyd Wiss Trucking. They ran into problems one time. They got out here and got stuck but they pulled themselves out and tried to help me clean up the spot where they got stuck. My ground was just a little too soft for their truck to drive on. They're very prompt and they get here when they say they're going to get here.
Description of Work: They are a trucking company and delivered some crushed limestone to my house for me.
