It went extremely well.

Excellent service. There were three men working to move us. They arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently and were extremely cautious with our belongings. All three men were friendly and polite during the entire move. Our move was short - only a few miles between the two houses - and our home is not large (1200 square feet) but the move went very quickly, taking only about 3 hours total. They were easy to work with and were more than happy to rearrange furniture a couple of times when I changed my mind about where I wanted items. Their final bill was less than the estimate we were given, which is always a nice surprise. I would highly recommend Action Moving and would use them again in the future.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the piano move Action Moving completed. It was expensive, but given the value of the piano being moved, it was well worth it. Since this was a long-distance move (from my Aunt's home to mine, 70+ miles distance) and I was only on the "receiving end", most of my comments will be from that point of view. I will say that my cousin was at my Aunt's home when they picked up the piano, and he was very pleased with the movers professionalism and the care they took with both the piano as well as the home and furnishings as they moved it outside. Originally, the movers gave me a 3-hour window when they might deliver it. During that time window, they did call within that time frame to say they were headed for my home and estimated they would arrive in a few hours; they were delivering one other piano before mine in a different town that was in between the point of origin and my home. They were about an hour later than estimated, so I gave a B rating for promptness, but I think given the distance and full schedule they had, they did just fine. My piano is a grand and they sent a crew of three men to move it. They were dressed in shorts and t-shirts, makes sense to me given they needed to move freely and lift the heavy piano. The truck was good sized (full size delivery truck ~30+ feet long) and had a ramp they used to connect with my home's front deck (raised foundation), so they didn't have to navigate any stairs with the piano. The piano, legs, foot pedals and bench were all completely blanketed with quilted moving blankets. There wasn't a spot of wood to be seen, which I think is a sign of quality movers--they didn't take any chances with any of the wood getting scratched or damaged in transit. Upon arrival inside, they unrolled floor protection (I have hardwood floors) and were very efficient moving it into the spot I had ready for it. It was obvious they had a lot of experience handling grand pianos. This was a first floor move, so I have no feedback about stair navigation and such. They re-attached the legs and pedals. They also re-assembled the humidity control system that's under the piano, and they did mention a piano tech/tuner could help get it running (they didn't plug it in or get it operational, which I agree is not part of their job!). Lastly, they were very patient with getting the piano exactly where I wanted it placed.

They were on time, had plenty of help and used 2 trucks so that they wouldn't have to make 2 trips with one truck. Each worker introduced himself to me and shook my hand at the start and end of the move. They were pleasant and helpful throughout what could have been a difficult move. They set up beds and installed all appliances at the new house. They couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. They were totally professional. They protected the floors and doorways so that if something did bump into them (nothing did) there wouldn't be any damage. Everything arrived in perfect condition--no damage at all. They even arranged the furniture the way I wanted it. I was happy to pay the bill which was within $100 of the estimate! (It only went over because I didn't have everything packed in the garage and they packed it for me.) I highly recommend this company.

The company is extremely professional and they get back with you either that day or the next day after you submit an inquiry to their website. (This means you don't pay for someone to sit in an office just to answer a phone.) 3 men showed up and it was immediately evident that they had years of experience and were very careful with each and every piece they moved. I was also impressed with their friendliness and willingness to work with me - esp. when positioning the large desk at the correct angles in my home office because I couldn't picture where I would have enough space to move everything I needed and also still get into the built-in cabinets along two walls of the office. I simply can't say enough good things about their professionalism, expertise, and dedication to customer satisfaction. Nick, Richard, and Seth were simply outstanding. They move locally and long-distance and I will definitely use them for any of my future moving needs.

They were extremely professional. They got in, and they got it done, and nothing was scratched or damaged at our old house or our new house. They came in and set up all the beds, and things that they tore down, they set all those back up.

I wouldn't use anybody else. I and my children have used them for every move I have made in the last twelve years. They are fabulous. I usually request the same crew when I move because I have a lot of antiques, fragile things, and antique dishes, and they are very respectful of what I have.

We were very pleased with the service. We had no breakage and the crew of 4 guys worked efficiently and professionally.

From the first phone call to the owner we just felt like this company and their employees were what we were looking forward. The quote was fair and the work that these men did was great. They did an excellent job moving the piano and organ and even after we got these two pieces fo furniture were we thought we wanted them..we changed our minds. And these guys were so gracious to move them once again to get them just were we wanted them arranged. They worked very well together and all of them were very pleasant and hard workers. Great company!!!
