Ms. Pederson explained the services offered by Re/Max and walked me through the entire selling process in a very clear, understandable manner. She presented herself in a professional, competent manner and was diplomatic in how she assisted me in negotiating with the buyer once an offer was made. Since she has a background in interior design she was very helpful in offering advice on how to stage my home to make it look its best to potential buyers. In fact, after following her advice my home had an offer within four days of it being listed. Once we had the contract signed she helped negotiate a counter-offer that was accepted by the buyer. From that point, she walked me through the rest of the process and the sale went through to closing without a hitch. I wish there was more to say about the services offered by Ms. Pederson, but since the listing was so problem free there is not much else to comment on. I would highly recommend this agent to anyone looking to sell a house!

We first used Associated Real Estate Company to sell our house and they were very helpful but our home didn’t sell over the winter. When our 6 month contract was up we called Stephanie Biggs with Remax to sell our home after seeing another home in the neighborhood sell really fast. Stephanie Biggs came over, we went through our home and she agreed with the home value Associated place on the home was a fair price. So we signed a contract with her and Remax. She actually got our home sold within two weeks! That was great but on the downside it was nowhere near what we were asking. The original asking price was $164,000 and the buyer only made an offer of $154,500 (which was way too low). We countered with $160,000 and we couldn’t believe Stephanie came up with so MANY EXCUSES why we should sell the home at that price. Especially after agreeing with the original $164,000. We really though she was working for us but she just wanted to make sale! It was unbelievable because we paid that price when we bought it 7 years earlier and we had finished part of the basement, added a drive around the home, landscaped the front and back yard, put in a double wash basin, added a water softener, bought appliances, added ten more cabinets in the home and garage and fenced the back yard!!! It was ridicules!!! We were able to get the buyers to come up to $157,000 and Stephanie took $500 off her commission, so we could finally sell the home. If you want to sell a home, she will get it done, but it may not be what you expect!!!! Even the closing was not done within 30 days, but it was 6 weeks later and we never got any help from Stephanie to stay within the normal time period. This cost us another $500 on the bridge loan. She just wouldn’t call us back with any news. We had to call her anytime we would have questions but we never got an answer. That also happening after the home inspection and the home appraisal. We never got an e-mail or any paperwork to see what kind of issues came up during the inspection or price from the appraisal. Then we had to call her a couple times to get the time of the closing because she had forgot to get everything set up? It is terrible to be kept in the dark the whole time, very frustrating. We learned during the closing that the realtors never told the home buyers about all the items we had done to the home. Besides all the above items, they were so happy to learn there was a really great peach tree and flowers that bloomed since winter. If Stephanie had actually taken the time to show the buyers all the extras they got, we may have gotten our money back out of the home rather than taking a loss!!!! So if you want someone that pays attention to details and really works for you, I would look for someone else, but if you want to sell no matter what, use them.
