Charged us $6000 to do rough-in only. That about $2000 more than competitors. Was informed by general contractor that Bernskoetter racked up labor cost since we purchased our own fixtures and tubs at an attempt to save money. Also instead of soldering elbow connectors, they just bent the copper piping. Was informed by another plumber that they should have installed 3/4" pipe to the first fixture for water volumn then 1/2" pipe for the remaining items in the house. They only did 1/2" throughout. Thus the reason parts of the house doesn't get great pressure. Never again will they be allowed on my property.

I felt Mark Bernskoetter was not friendly at all. His men were very polite and did a good job, but they did not clean up after themselves which is very important to me.

I talked to a gentleman from this company on the phone about what I needed to be done. [The scope of the job was well-defined because it was recommended in a home inspection report.] After asking a few questions, he gave me a verbal estimate of the approximate price ($225). I informed him that the job was not urgent, that I would like it done within a month, and that I could generally be available upon short notice. The firm dispatched two plumbers within a week of my request. The firm provided all of the materials (tank, valve, fittings, etc.), appeared knowledgeable, and were done within an hour.

Our water heater was leaking water all over the "furnace room" and we were frantic that it would seep into the rec room. We called Don Bernskoetter Don explained our options over the phone and came with a new tank within a very reasonable time. We had quite a mess to clean up before he got here, but he got the job done efficiently and well.
