CHARLES LUEBBERT HARDWOOD FLOORS

This company consists of Charles Luebbert, his wife, and four of their children. The daughter does the initial customer contact & bidding; the father and the sons do the actual refinishing; and Mrs. Luebbert handles the office & phone calls. My floors were scheduled to be refinished during the winter. An artist-friend of mine picked out the stain color and the gloss level for the floors. I moved all of my furniture into the one room with vinyl flooring. Then friends advised me that my planned interior wall painting should be done BEFORE the floors were refinished, rather than after. Because of scheduling, this project was only partly completed. In mid-winter, I moved into an extended-stay hotel when the actual refinishing was being done. The project took 6 days for the contractor to complete. However, I ended up staying an extra 4 days in the hotel because the smell was so overpowering. The contractor recommended that no furniture be placed on the newly-refinished floors for 30+ days. However, I did assemble my bedroom furniture prior to the 30 day period.
