Lynn Cotner Painting

Description of Work: Exterior painting of house and trim, including basement windows. In addition where needed he glazed a couple of the windows.

Description of Work: if any one is looking for a painter don't use lynn cotner. he came to my home to give me an estimate for painting of the outside of my house. i wanted him to paint the windows white and the rest flannel gray and he painted them with benjamin moor paint witch he said is 45 a gallon . he said he was going to power wash the house witch he didn't do. scrape the windows the old paint off, only did the main level ones. the house is two stores. he was to primer the house before he put the gray faunal on. he said he thought it would take 12 gallons of primer and ben moor , but gave the estimate for 16 to be on the safe said he said. he also removed to gutters form are house and landing. he was to also paint to are back deck witch he didn't not. paint are garage witch he didn't but he used are power washer and gas that we put in it. he was also the remove caulk and put in new and he just did on main level. he gave the estimate at 3300 witch was much cheaper then the other company we had come out so we choose to go with him. well this is where the trouble began. he was rude and didn't finish the job it rained one day and washed some of the paint off and i asked his worker if they where going to fix it and he said yes they will be back to fix it tomorrow. they never showed up they didn't not paint the back bottom of my house they painted the windows. they also messed up my kitchen sink by coming in and rising there brushes in it and used two thing of dish soap. he total bill came out to be 5413.80 as you all can tell that 1843.80 over what was said that the bill would be. i have not paid him what was over the estimate because he never gave explanation to why it was so much over the estimate other than it really soaked up they paint. but it is really had to believe that the truth because we cleaned up his mess there was 22 primer cans , 17 ben moor cans 5 tubes of caulk and one roller. so it should have about 400 dollars more that what was estimate was. i will never do any business with him again. i would highly recommend that no one else does.
