National Fence and Gate

Kaleb and Leah are dishonest and unprofessional. Paid them $7,000 in July 2021 as a 50% deposit “for materials”. They promised to begin the job in August 2021, and to complete it within a week after that. Once they had my money they disappeared and it took months of calls and e-mails and text messages to get them to actually show up in late October of 2021. Two guys showed up and started digging post holes by hand. Then they disappeared again for a month. As of March 2022 the job is still not even half done and looks terrible. The neighbors are complaining about it. This company is a scam, two of their employees told me that they have taken deposits on multiple jobs they have never completed. I have had to hire a lawyer and file a lawsuit since they have not made any attempt to complete the job or resolve this situation in any other way. Do not hire this company.

BEWARE!! This company National Fence and Gate owner Kaleb Julitette stole my money. It's been 11 months since we signed a contract and he still has not completed my project. I paid to have a fence and gate installed on our 11 acre property. I only wish that I knew about his bad reviews. I've learned that he has such great reviews on Facebook because he deletes all the bad reviews. I reported him to the BBB and as always he tried to lie to them. However, I've kept every conversation that I ever had with him & his wife. He harrassed and threaten my friend who posted a review on his Facebook he said if she didn't remove it he wouldn't send his employees to work on my project. Kaleb and his wife Leah said my project would be completed by Christmas 2020. Instead all he has done is barely install rotten/damage boards. He damaged my asphalt, left old barbwire (caused several tires having to be replaced), left old fence post on the ground, my property is a mess because he will not honor the contract to finish the work I paid him for. Kaleb & his wife Leah have given me every excuse in the book from not having the materials, my project is a custom job & Kaleb had to be present, bidding me incorrectly on the gate & they said they wouldn't take the loss, not having workers, he was sick, taking his animal to the Vet, and the list goes on! His worker said Kaleb didnt have the tensile wire to install my fence, but I see on his Facebook a video of him installing it on another project. I have requested a refund so I can move on and find a company that can complete my job. Now I have no fence at all around my property. Kaleb yells at me when I call, his wife hangs up on me, and have blocked my calls, I have to hire a lawyer to get my refund. I selected his company because the salesperson at Lowes stated he was company that they used before. I'm saddened to see him have an American flag as his companies picture. My husband was a disabled Army Veteran who served his country. When I am grieving Kaleb and his wife Leah came to my house and brought me flowers, they talked to me about God, family, took my money and promised a beautiful fence and gate to honor my husband. He has the audacity to try to make it seem like I'm the problem, no I'm the customer who paid him to complete a job that he cannot/will not complete. Whatever happened to honor, respect and integrity!

Unfortunately, not well..Kaleb Julitette, who owns and heads this company is the man our family dealt with on this project that occurred last summer in 2016. We obtained used chain link materials from a tear-out at a Christian based ranch south of here. All of this fencing was rolled and tagged accurately in lengths, and an exuberant amount of terminal posts and hardware were stacked and stored here at our farm for inspection. We wanted to make sure that anyone considering this rebuild would be comfortable with the used materials that we had already purchased- or else just simply move on. Three separate contractors all inspected these materials and agreed they were indeed suitable for re-installation. We stressed to the contractors that if any new materials needed to be purchased, they should give us a materials list, and we would purchase anything else needed to complete this project. We also stressed that the chain link posts should be cemented into the ground; although lay people should not have to be stressing this to a fencing contractor! Either way, Kaleb conned me into paying him in full for the job prior to completion, declaring in front of his two hired hands that they would have to wait an additional week for their payroll check because he could not afford to pay them. Against my better judgement, I paid him the entire contracted amount. He promised me several times that day that he would not let me down. None of the corner or line posts were concreted in the ground and were loose upon inspection. Many of the sections were not even attached to anything. The lengths of fence were terribly crooked and unlevel. Aesthetically, I could have overlooked the substandard work, but when I realized that the posts were all loose and the fence would not last even one year- so loose that the gate would not even stay closed, I had to call someone else to tear it down and completely rebuild the entire chain link fence. My attempts at contacting Kaleb Juliette resulted in him never answering or returning my phone calls. Eventually I remembered I had received a call from an employee of his with the nickname "Alabama" and I looked his cell phone number up and called him. Alabama handed Kaleb his cell phone and after he talked to me- only because I side-stepped him, he eventually told me he would come to inspect and fix the problems. He didn't show up on the day he said he would and would never return my calls (as usual). Eventually he blocked me from even being able to view his business page on Facebook.
