Don't do it. Very sad employees

I'm the manager of that Pro Lube of America, we have been in business for a very long time.. today March 13th 2023 the trash service arrived and I asked him to lift the dumpster once and then allow us to put in half of one of our trash cans and then lift it one more time. The driver immediately asked me for a free oil change as if it was equivalent..... you're talking a 4 gallon oil change for hitting a button two extra times. I did not have another dumpster for him to dump just half a trash cans worth, I have a car wash to maintain. I do not appreciate being treated very rudely by the driver just for asking for a small favor and we were going to put the dumpster away and close the dumpster enclosure for him if he did that for us. Instead he popped off with attitude about him getting a free oil change when the oil alone for that truck cost at least $80, not including the oil filter or the service

I have been in Raytown several years and have had to call Ted's Trash Service twice. On both occasions I have encountered extremely rude and unprofessional personnel on the phone. This is unacceptable and indicative of poor training and supervision. I called today because my trash was not picked up Monday as scheduled. I was asked if my trash was at the curb by 6:00 a.m. and it certainly was. Since Ted's drivers note every pick-up, the representative should have known my trash was there. A truck did not even come to my house on Monday to get my trash. Yet the representative was argumentative, disrespectful, rude and did not listen. I had to remind her that I am the customer who pays my money and I have the right to speak. Her apology was derisive, sarcastic and matter-of-fact. Citizens deserve better when they are paying customers!

I have used Ted's Trash Service for trash and recycling services for the past two years. I pay for the year in advance (paying this way you paid for 11 months and received 1 month free... I was informed today they are no longer offering that payment option). I guess half way through this last year they decided to up the cost of trash and recycling service and, even though I paid for the year up front they decided to charge me for the extra. It's a small bill but it's not very professional to have someone pay for a yearly service and then send them a bill for extra charges. I was informed today by the rude customer service woman that I'm not really paying in advance; the money just sits in holding and is removed month by month. I'm quite sure they didn't touch that money; that it wasn't sitting in one of their accounts drawing some kind of interest or something. Unprofessional and, in my opinion, unethical.

Delivered on time. Picked up right after I called.

Great. They arrived when they said, left it where I had told them to on the phone, and picked it back up when I called. They where polite and helpful on the phone.

Great, dependable service. Employees are courteous and helpful.

I've experienced several problems with them picking up the lawn/leaf bags. I've had to call them when the bags were still there the day after scheduled pickup. It's taken them another day to get them. My parents ran a business, they taught us that no matter what the customer complains about, ALWAYS APOLOGIZE. When I've called, I've never heard an apology for the lawn/leaf bags not having been picked up.

If you need a roll off dumpster DO NOT USE TED'S. I ordered one, they delievered it and placed it on my driveway. They put it to close to my retaining wall and was unable to open it. When I called and asked if they could come move it a foot so it would function they would, but wanted to charge me for THEIR mistake. When I told them I am not paying for the mistake they made they got very hostile and I told them I did not want to use there service anymore and asked them to pick up the dumpster. I asked for a full refund and they refused. They then told me I would have to call my credit card company to dispute it since they were unwilling to help. Their prices are fair, but customer service gets an F. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The trash pick up has been going great for 4 years. I love the new recycling center that allows you to recycle at your convenience. They are prompt. They let you know when pick up days will be changed for holidays. I chose them because they are a local business.

It went great! Very accommodating, nice, helpful - we loved him.

Very satisfied with their service. Driver that dumped off container fit it into a tight spot for me and he was very pleasant to deal with. Had the dumpster in my driveway for 3 weeks during a remodeling job. Great communication with their customer service dep't. Would definitely use again and recommend strongly.

We so wish this experience had gone differently...... :( We originally contacted Ted's the last week of May 2013, we gave them the addresses of the buildings we wanted service and requested a quote. Lisa was extremely kind and helpful on the phone. She asked relevant questions and seemed genuinely committed to getting us connected with the information we needed to make a final decision. We were very unhappy with our current service provider (leaving trash behind, not fully emptying the cans, etc.) and we explained to Lisa that we were very eager to get Ted's bid. She assured us that she would be able to get back to us within the following couple of days with an estimate on the different bins and service options that could work for us. A week went by and no call back or email from Lisa. We called to follow-up. Lisa said she was not sure whether or not her husband, who does the estimating had been out there. She assured us she would check with him and get back to us the next day. Another week went by and we did not hear back from Ted's. We called and left a message for Lisa. Another week went by and still no call back or email from Lisa. We once again called to follow-up. They said she was eating lunch did we want her voicemail. We said yes. We left a message. The young woman who answered the phone said that Lisa would get back to us either that day or the next day. Three days went by and still no call from Lisa. We called again. This time we got Lisa. She was just as kind and pleasant as she had been the two other occasions we had spoken with her. She apologized for not having gotten back with us and explained that her husband had been out to the sites but had not as of yet given her the estimates. We explained to her once again that we were very dissatisfied with the vendor we'd had for the last several years and that we were very interested in making a change as soon as possible. She assured us that either she or her husband would get back to us later that day or the very next day. But, once again that day and the next day passed with no call, email or follow-through of any kind from Ted's Trash. It would seem they are very nice people but their follow-through is very, very poor. It would seem from what we experienced that the communication within the company is just as broken as their communication with their potential customers. They did not keep a single one of the time commitments they specified they would meet. We were extremely disappointed. We don't like having to write a review like this, but hopefully the vendor will use it as a learning opportunity and a chance to look at their organization and find better strategies for meeting their potential customers needs.

I've used them for over 10 years. It's $21 a month and I pay 6 months at a time. The trash goes away and they never leave a mess behind. I

went just as planned, great service.

I don't have any reason to believe that he would not have been able to provide the service that he offered. They were competitive and had a pretty good price. I regretted that I didn't go with them, but I probably will in the future. I went with another company because they were cheaper due to the fact that they owned the trash dump, but their service was lousy

They were fine. We did not have any problems or miscommunications with them. In fact, it just did not work out. It was not a problem because they even asked if we wanted to leave it a little bit longer for no charge if they did not have a client for dumpster. We agreed, but they ended up getting a client.

They do well. They are reliable. They pick up the trash every week like they are supposed to without any problems.

Office staff and deliveryman were friendly, helpful, prompt and professional.

Experience was good. They did charge extra because of some broken up concrete that I put in the dumpster. Drop off and pick up were punctual.

WE HAVE USED THIS SERVICE 3 TIMES FOR MAJOR CLEAN-UPS AND RENOVATIONS. IT IS DIFFICULT TO SITUATE THE DUMPSTER IN OUR BACK DRIVEWAY BUT TED'S DRIVERS HAVE ALWAYS GONE OUT OF THEIR WAY TO GET IT RIGHT.
