When I called for an estimate for replacement conduit for my electric service line. The estimator came a few minutes early, had an estimate ready immediately. He did not pressure us or push other services. He looked over the papers we got from IPL and was knowledgeable about what IPL expected. The day of service, the service tech was early. His truck was well stocked and he had all the supplies and tools he would need to do the job. He called IPL and arranged with them to have our main service line disconnected. He was done quickly, more quickly than IPL expected. He then patiently waited in his truck for IPL to come back and inspect everything and reattach the service line. He showed me where we had had arcing at some point behind our meter. He caulked and sealed everything. He was friendly and courteous in addition to being as knowledgeable as the estimator. The bill and the estimate were exactly the same. He did not leave until our mail breaker was turned on and the electricity in the house was working.
