Description of Work: Upon moving into my house, I felt discouraged at the back yard full of mud. What should have been a place for fun for my son and dogs, became a place that we avoided. After meeting Roye, I definitely had hope, though I had no idea what kind of transformation my yard would undergo. During our initial consult, Roye took time to understand our lifestyle and offer realistic solutions that I could maintain (given my honestly about me probably NOT watering new grass daily) He suggested that we mulch around the fence line (since my dogs run it daily, and would destroy any hope for grass) as well as an irrigation system, and some unique takes on hard scapes to accommodate all the shade (since he knew that my main goal was to not have mud!) Despite the fact that I offered very little guidance, and just trusted them to do what it is that they do, I could never have prepared myself for the complete transformation, including a paver patio, sod/seed, fire pit. PS - they also cut up my fire wood.

Description of Work: They take care of the pond in my backyard. They patched 2 holes. They will be doing a cleaning in the spring of 2011.

Description of Work: Although this company is primarily a landscaping company, they got such glowing reviews on Angie's List, I decided to call and see if they did any fencing. Roye said they had done a couple of fencing jobs and would come over to give us an estimate. Well, since this is a family (out of the house) business, and the winter is terrible in Missouri, Roye also contracts with the city or county to throw salt on the streets when needed. As it turned out, he was needed many times in the few weeks we tried to work out an appointment. He never did get over. On the phone he asked me several questions (how far apart do you want the posts and vertical slats; suggested a survey be done at the cost of about $300 or $400 and several other questions) that indicated to me he really doesn't know fencing. I eventually decided he was too inexperienced, at this time, and could not get the job done in a timely manner. So we used a major fencing company in the area. We plan on doing a little landscaping next summer and we will definitely take a bid from him, since he had several glowing reviews from Angie's List.
