Prestige One Landscaping

Fine chose not to use their company but am using landscaping ideas with plant ing suggestion.

Excellent! The tech called to tell me he was running late.....I appreciated the courtesy call. When he arrived, he walked the property with me and made notes and suggestions. He spent a long time with me in the back yard (where I want to install a water feature). He listened to all my ideas and advised whether or not it was "do-able"....then he drew up a sketch including his recommendations. This will be a project that will be done in stages, and when we're ready to start, I'll be calling Prestige One. Very nice people!

I wouldn't do that again. I've never done landscaping before but $50 for a guy to draw square and then some squiggly lines on it, no thank you. The guy who came out was really knowledgeable but a $20 tree was going to be like $200. I'm going to pass on using their services. The sketch I assumed would have been something more professional than just one of those grid square things. They knew what they were doing, it just wasn't what I expected. They were very responsive.

Everything went well. I have used this company for many projects over the past 5 years. They have put in retainer walls, paver stone paths and patios, plants and trees. They have also ground down stumps, cut down a maple tree, and other things I can't remember. They are the company that I always call when I need landscaping work. They are good at what they do. Their prices are very fair.

I just used him one time and it was good. They came and did it and they were very professional. I would recommend them.

The bid process went very smoothly. Roye showed up at the appointed time, listened to all my questions and offered alternative solutions. His prices were comparable to other bids I received. In the end, I did not have all of the work completed that he bid on, partly due to budget and partly due to time constraints. Roye was able to juggle his schedule and get my work done in time for a graduation party. The actual job went smoothly as well. The crew showed up on time and finished in the planned time. They were professional and courteous. The quality of the work was excellent and the work site was cleaned up when the job was complete. They even spread some of the excess mulch over some of my other flower beds. I would definitely use Prestige One in the future.

Went really well. We walked the property, discussed my tastes and desires. We discussed areas of concern such as drainage and ideas on how to resolve it. Measurements were made and then a sketch and detailed quote was generated. We then sat down and discussed all of the different proposed flowers and shrubs. Overall I am very happy. I have budgetary numbers to work with.

That worked out fine. I liked that they listened to what I would like and he incorporated that in there for me. He did the sketch right there to.

The owner came to our home and as purchased, gave us a proposal and sketch for a landscape plan for our front yard. Several weeks later,as promised, his crew came and the proposal became reality in one day and within our discussed budget.

He came out, and it was more of an estimate.The service was okay. He seemed very pleasant, and he knew what he was talking about. I took his plans to sketch. I am sure it is a nice company, and he had some good ideas, and If I was going to do that, I would choose him, but that wasn't what I was looking for. He was there when he said he was going to be there, and he made the schedule according to my time, and it took an hour which is exactly what I was told.

I signed up for the "Big Deal", $49 Landscaping consultation with a sketch. They contacted me quickly and Roye arrived as scheduled on 4/8. I showed him my areas of concern which included the East side of my backyard and the side drive. I shared what I was thinking of doing and solicited his ideas. Within an hour Roye completed his evaluation and presented me with a quote but no sketch. I essentially paid $49 for a bid. At that point I didn't mind however because I did want him to do the work and indicated that to him twice before he left. The first time I indicated I wanted to schedule the work I felt dismissed as the conversation took a different turn. The second time he indicated he had some other jobs he was finishing and would be in touch to schedule it. That was the last I heard from Prestige One for over 2 weeks. For those wondering why I didn't call them .. I am not in the habit of begging someone to take my money to do work. You either want my business or you don't. These people obviously didn't want it. On Thu 4/24 I received a text message ... a TEXT message ... at 9:27 pm asking me if I was available for them to start "part of my project" the next day. "Due to the rain" he was not able to work at a different job. I work for a living and to be expected to be available on less than 24 hours notice is unprofessional at a minimum. Further, getting a text message at 9:30 at night is unacceptable. If you can't call a customer ready to spend $4K on a service, don't bother. Lastly, it felt like I was being squeezed in as a side job when it was convenient for them, not for me. I responded that it was very late notice, I was not available, and hadn't heard from them in over 2 weeks. Still interested in giving them another chance I requested they call me the next day to set a reasonable date to do the work. The business day went by with no call, no text. Not until 7:30 pm after I was out for the night did I hear from them again, not asking to schedule work but wanting to come the next day! Seriously, what part of contact me to schedule the work did this company not get. Not only was I not going to let them show up to start the work but I had no idea what part they wanted to start. If they did start, I certainly had no indication of when/if they would be back to finish. When Prestige One finally called me on Saturday morning asking if I accepted their bid I told them absolutely not. I expressed my desire at the beginning to support a local Independence business and was disappointed I could no longer do that. My experience at this point was that they are unreliable and unprofessional. I should have requested my $49 back given that I did not receive what was promised but I just want to be done with this company. They might have done a good job in the end but unfortunately the inability to follow the most basic of protocols of customer service made that impossible. I doubt Roye or any of his coworkers would accept this type of service from someone they contracted to work with. Moving on.

Roye and his crew did an amazing job. They were very efficient and neat. They always cleaned up after themselves daily and accomplished an amazing amount of work every day. The workers were very polite and always did everything I would ask. As far as Roye was concerned he worked with us on breaking up the project into 2 parts (fall & spring) to allow us to spread out the cost. He took our budget into account and didn't try to upsell us. We are planning on landscaping the backyard and will definitely be using Prestige Landscape.

Roye Dillon was prompt and very helpful with suggestions. Felt this is someone we would like to work with when deciding on which services we choose.

They were done in 8 hours and gone. They actually came in about a hundred dollars cheaper than they say an estimated to begin with. They did not have to go the wall as long and basically charge me for time and materials. He just took an estimate because he was able to get out of here in 8 hours. It was perfect from start to finish. He came out and met us when he was supposed to. About the estimate, he pulled together exactly what we wanted in a short period of time. And the sketch, back for the work in 2 or 3 days and we set up the time to have them. They did the work, send the crew of 7 or 8 people, got it done in 8 hours, and they were gone. It is an excellent company. And if I have any work to be done, it is them whom I am going with.

The sketch was good. It also included a long list of possible plants and projects with corresponding prices for each. We prioritized the list and called to make arrangements to have a few of the projects started. Roye was very nice as was Jennifer in his office. I left multiple messages. Some were returned and at times I spoke with Roye. He said he would have to get back to me with dates he was available but he didn't. I made several more calls, leaving messages on his cell phone and with Jennifer. She said she would contact him each time I spoke with her. She said he was having issues with his cell phone so she would email him. This continued for weeks with no response from him so we hired another company to do the work. Months later we began receiving several messages a week from Jennifer asking when we wanted to schedule our projects. We returned the messages and explained our dissatisfaction, but we continued to receive calls. After more returned calls from us and possibly my husband actually reaching someone in person, their calls stopped. We were really impressed with the initial consultation and prices, however they dropped the ball and therefore lost our business.

Scheduling was very easy. They took their time and I didn’t feel rushed at all. They had lots of different suggestions and several different approaches. The pricing was very fair.

I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the Deal. In the end, I had to pay for his recommendation, which is something that most companies do for free. I was actually the one who said what I wanted. I essentially paid for a bid.

The price was good and they gave great service. I would use them again.

On an earlier review of this company, I had expressed my dissatisfaction with the delay of several months on starting my work project. At that time of review, no work had been started, I gave a low rating because of the delay. Now,after the patio work was completed, I am satisfied with the quality of the finished work and the way the patio looks.

This was only for a landscape design. Roye came out and spent some time with me discussing what I want. He then drew a sketch and made some planting suggestions. It was sufficient for our needs, just not as detailed as I was originally expecting. | |We are using Prestige to do a complete stone patio this spring and will do the front hardscape as we discussed as well.

They came out on a Monday and tore out my old deck. Then they came back on a Wednesday and started. It's quite a process for the pavers stone patio. It took them 3 days to finish it. They did a very good job. His workers were all nice and they worked very hard. |Working with Royh was a great experience. They price was a little more than expected but I hadn't put very much thought into what they had to do. They had to build me a step over they old step( the old step was horrible. At first they were going to lay the pavers around the old concrete patio that was under my deck. The old step was cracked and to equal out the measurements they laid pavers over the whole patio. The step and covering the old patio is where the extra cost came in. |He gave me a discount on that and tearing out the deck. I would recommend these guys to anybody.

The guy arrived on time, but we did have to reschedule one time due to him being too busy. The guy seemed nice enough, but I could not really get much out of him. I showed him my yard, and told him I was having problems coming up with ideas and he agreed that it was a tough situation. He kind of walked around for a bit then wrote down a list of plants I might try planting. He mentioned that he could not remember the names of some of them. I thanked him for his time and he left. I know I only spent $45 on the coupon, but I don't think I got anything for my $45 that I could not have gotten for free from talking to garden section employee at Lowes. Also I did not get a sketch of where the plants were supposed to go.

Prestige One gave us an estimate on the design of our yard. Very professional and knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of good ideas for the yard and provided a full quote on the spot. Only reason I gave a B for Overall is a sketch wasn't included as in the description. Service and quality of discussion was great.

This vendor call me promptly, the contact was very nice. I made an appointment with them, however prior to that appointment I called them back and cancelled the appointment, because of budget concerns. A prior project (tree removal) had gone over budget and it was determined that there was not enough funds to go forward with this second project.

Due to my current financial situation, I simply cannot afford to have any of the work done. I may use them in the future.
