Prestige One Landscaping

Enjoyed his visit, very professional, definitely listened to what I was looking for and how I would like to break it into projects. Provide great insight and knowledge, provided a sketch and listed proposed plants (little difficult to read his writing but readable). Will definitely be using Prestige Landscape services.

I initially tried twice to contact Prestige in late summer of 2014 through the email message function on their website but did not receive a reply. After two calls in mid-Oct. 2014 I received a call back and a time was agreed upon for an estimate. Prestige told me that they wouldn't be able to start the work until Feb. 2015, unless the weather was worse than expected. I agreed to the possible Feb. start. In mid-January I received a message that they were still planning on a Feb. start. The weather didn't cooperate so I wasn't surprised that work did not commence. I called Mar. 3rd to get some idea when the work might start and was told that someone that did the scheduling would call back. As of this writing it's Friday afternoon Mar. 6th and I haven't heard from Prestige. I have left a vmail (and email) asking to please confirm a start date, or tell me that they're too busy so that I can make other arrangements to get the work done. If they can't do the project I'd like a written confirmation that the contract is void.

Rather than use a gravel subbase Prestige hired a subcontractor to put in a 6-inch concrete slab to support the pavers. The sub did not layout the slab so that it formed a 90-degree angle with the garage. This angle was critical to lay out the pavers which would set atop the slab. Consequently a significant portion of the slab had to be torn out and the slab redone. Prestige did a great job in laying the pavers but I would have to fault them for not more closely supervising the subcontractor. My costs remained the same except for some additional project delay and aggravation. I am confident that this was a lesson which Prestige and the subcontractor have taken to heart.

They came in way under what everybody else was and they really didn't listen to what it was that I said I wanted. I explained the situation and told them what I was kind of looking for and the directions and suggestions that they gave were different than what I wanted and I didn't feel that is was going to necessarily solve my problem.

They were okay. I wanted some one one to draw out some things that I could plant in my yard and I had to call him back to do that. I felt that what he did do was come and give me an estimate and I shouldn't have to pay for an estimate.

They are good guy. I already had gardens in and they basically just put stone around it and made it nice. They were very punctual and very good. They did excellent clean up. They are excellent guys. I liked them, they were very good.

Badly. Would never use this company.

Provider was honest - punctual and gave us all the details. We needed to get funding for the project to make it exactly what we wanted. He understood and we have an appointment for next year.

Tne estimator came and provided a comprehensive and detailed description of work to be performed. The concept, design and cost were accepted. Since the landscapers were large volume and specialized in installing water gardens we were advised that this was a pretty small job and the exact date would be scheduled as soon as possible and we would be advised. That was fine..we understand large professional business. We were notified of the date and the crew arrived promptly. As the work was being performed the install crew manager changed plans and lessened the amount of work that was done -- it didn't even come close to what was originally planned. We asked that no thorny plants be installed only to find that ROSES were planted right next to the entry walkway -- we tried to use this company asecond time and the same outcome.

WAS $49.00The visit went very well. The provider was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and very generous with his time. He proposed removing a certain portion of our patio and lowering the lawn level in front of the patio to eliminate the flow back toward the house. He proposed a variety of trees and shrubs that might be utilized to form a sound reducing and colorful barrier in our yard. I would rate the service excellent/good with the only downside being the cost. The proposed landscaping was first quality and priced accordingly.

We're new to the area and just bought a home in Overland Park. We wanted to get some good landscaping advice on how to enhance our front and back yards, make the yards more low-maintenance and select plants that will fit well in the yard's condidtions. We met with Roye Dillon and spent a good amount of time walking around the yard. He answered all our questions and gave us some excellent advice on what types of low-maintenance plants will do well in our shady yard. He also ideinified all the existing plants and told us how to care for them with different products. He recommended local nurseries and hardware stores where we could purchase different plants and products. We had explained that we wanted to do most of the work ourselves over the next few years to manage the expense. He offered the services of Prestige One for anything we wanted to outsource but didn't push their services which we appreciated. Overall I think it was a good value for the advice we got and I expect it has allowed us to avoid some common mistakes.

Mark had great suggestions and listed to my ideas. I have done a few of the things he suggested but I didn't have the budget to work with him and have all the work done that he suggested.

Very well. There were a couple of problems with scheduling the service.

Difficulty in scheduling and had to reschedule several different times. The night before they were to arrive the landscape architect called and told me that he had a sewer line burst at his house. I understand that things happen its just that after several other rescheduling events and one where they didn't show up it go to be a little much. Paying for a consultation and a bid was surprising to me as I think I could have gotten that service from any landscaper for free as they are trying to win the business. All in all the consultation was okay and bid was okay. It was just difficult to get them here and then I'm not sure getting a bid is something you should pay for.

Went well, I wasn't super excited about the layout they provided, but I also didn't know exactly what I wanted. I'm sure if you have a good idea of what you are looking for they will work with that and do a great job.

That turned out great. They installed part of the driveway and the walkway. They had the job done in one day. They took out the brick that we already had put it back down.

When they came out, he just gave me some ideas. He took his pencil and just did some scribbles on the paper. It didn’t seem very professional, and I felt like I could get other companies to do that for free. I was very surprised at what I got for what I paid money for. I didn't end up using them.

There wasn't lot of contact. I spoke to them for about 15 minutes. They came out promptly after I contacted them about wanting a proposal He was very knowledgeable about what he does and knowledgeable about the comments he was making about what we would expect. .

Estimator was one time, very professional and explained his rationale about the plants he recommended.

Roye was very punctual and very professional. He provided some good insight on what could be done and did not try to over sell me on anything. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the offer stated there would be a sketch and I did not receive that. I basically paid $50.00 for an estimate. Not what I expected and very disappointing. I would expect an estimate to be free,

It went very well. We haven't proceeded with the job but will definitely consider them.

The project went very well. The installation crew was very professional and wanted to provide high quality service and satisfaction.

They were really great. The crew that did it were very good, they worked quickly and the patio looks great & like it's going to last a long time. I had several companies tell me they didn't want to finish a job (they all wanted to work from start to finish) but Prestige had no problem with finishing it up. I was very happy with the results and would absolutely use them again & recommend them to others. I was impressed by how knowledgeable and his great ideas. Very pleased.
