Specializing in automotive, residential and commercial window and film coatings, our products & services include but not limited to safety and security films, privacy films, solar control, UV protective films and decorative options. I pulled up to Midwest Tinting, had the tint level checked, they took me right in, it was done within 30 minutes, and the price was far less than I had imagined. Fantastic!! Thank you!
Description of Work: I had purchased a car a year ago that had tinted windows. A few weeks ago a state trooper gave me a ticket claiming that my tints were illegally too dark. I had no idea!! So I needed the film removed.

The installation job was great and almost a year later, there have been absolutely no problems. Our home is actually comfortable during the brutal Missouri summers. Prior to the tinting installation, our AC would run all day and never catch up. Not it runs and stops when it catches up. There hasn't really been an impact during winter as it's easier to heat the home but we still are not needing any of our fireplaces like we were before the installation.

The 14 ft garage doors can complete and accomplish any need for an RV, boat, big rig semi truck, coupe or sedan, anything with glass. Did you know the factory colored glass on your truck does not have a UV filter to protect against interior fading or skin and eye care? Also, the colored glass does not reject heat. Tint added driver and passenger windows of truck. Appointment went on time. Had a challenge with bubbling on one window. Went back a few weeks later and they reinstalled. Took care of the problem without haggling. Would go back to this provider.

We appreciate you visiting Midwest Tinting, there are some installations that take longer to see an excess water bubble or pocket, thank you for bringing this to our attention to fix. This process is interesting, using water to activate the window film adhesive, then squeegee out for the best fit to the glass. We have been in business for over 40 years with our customer service standards and convenient locations. Have you seen the new remodel at Independence? Things went just as promised.
Description of Work: Had tinting installed for two vehicles. The purpose for this work was UV protection. The installer had strong product knowledge and worked with us to evaluate current UV levels and new product UV levels based on metering. The price was very fair and the installation was well done. Installers and sales people were great............front desk was OK. One person was great the other was having a bad day.

I am extremely pleased with the result, Dustin did a great job and it's obvious he puts in the extra effort to get the job perfect. Just got back from a track day, and the film worked great, with no damage after 3 lap sessions at Heartland Park, and when I got home the bug jerky wipes right off - this stuff is highly recommended, and I recommend Midwest Tinting to do it.
Description of Work: I had my 2015 Challenger wrapped with Xpel Ultimate paint protection film by Dustin at Midwest Tinting (Lee's Summit, MO branch).

Description of Work: Tinted windows all around (excluding windshield) on Volkswagen GLI | |I had a couple of issues that resulted in multiple trips back, but the guys there handled things without question and treated me respectfully throughout. In the end I went to another Midwest location to have my windows done (Lee's Summit). They're more familiar with VW as they handle the tint jobs from the dealership there. Overall the quality of the film, the look, and the experience was good. I'd go back to have work done despite the issues I experienced initially.
