Great. They were fast and neat.

Excellent service. On time, friendly, and fast. I mentioned that I smelled gas near the fireplace and he inspect it and our water heater for no extra charge. He also added extra sand and glow embers and arranged our logs to get a cleaner, more effiicient burn. He noticed a couple of repairs we can make and we will certainly use Padgitt to do these repairs in the future.

They were polite, prompt and considerate of my home when cleaning the chimney. I asked for estimates on fireplace inserts and got information and answers to my questions. The information left me with more to consider and they left me a few brochures. At the time they gave me an estimate of installation in January. I took more than a week to decide what I wanted and when I called I was told it would be a couple of weeks to get the product from the manufacturer. It wound up taking longer due to a backlog at the factory then when the product came in Padgitt was contracted elsewhere so my two weeks turned into two months and took me past the winter season. This winter I have used my fireplace insert several times and am completely satisfied. I have asked to be put on Padgitt's reminder email list for a chimney cleaning this spring.

The Sweep was very professional and friendly. He finished the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after the work was complete. Our flue was pretty clean before the work so the Sweep gave us a $20.00 discount.

Called based upon high rating on the list and was not disappointed. Outstanding professional organization to work with. Great communication from office and on site personnel. Work completed as scheduled, final cost matched estimate. A major home repair can't be classifed as a pleasant experience because of the cost but this company sure made it better.

Excellent! I had six contractors from across the area look at the job. Gene was the only one that accurately diagnosed all the issues prior to demo and appropriately bid the job. Worked very well with the insurance company. Initial bid was roughly double that of of other firms but that was due to the fact he knew what was going to be involved with the job and accuarley communicated that to the insurance adjuster with credibility. Gene was able to take our vision and make it work and had great design ideas as well from an asthetic point and he is extremely focused on safety of the final install. Could not have been more pleased and would have no one in the KC area work on a fireplace other than Gene.

I think they were fairly professional; I got various quotes to do that work and they were very professional and knew what they were doing. In fact, I am planning to use them in future again for something else possibly.

He made a valuable inspection finding and that was that the firebox had significant cracking in it and needed repair. I had another company do the repair. He pointed out things as he was doing the scoping.

One hour late. High priced. Knowledgeable staff.

The job went really well. It took me a while to get my estimate from them. After I got the estimate, I was able to schedule pretty quickly and they came out and did the job in one day.

Our chimney sweep was very informative and professional. His uniform was neat and clean. I felt better about using my fireplace after he said that it was safe to use and in good condition. He gave me tips on how to get my fire started and what type of wood to use. There was no mess. Overall, my experience with this company was very good. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

We bought an older home that had 3 unusable and unsafe fireplaces. After taking several bids, we chose Padgitt because they seemed the most knowledgeable and gave a very competitive bid. It is not fun to have contractors in your home for a week, but the owner and his workers were considerate and made it as minimally disruptive as possible. We are very pleased with the work and have 3 working fireplaces.

Not too hot. They didn't seem excited to be giving a price quote, refused to give me the price of the unit at issue or a price breakdown (so I compare equipment and labor costs). They told me if I was comparison shopping they wouldn't be the lowest price... and then proceeded to give me an estimate that was $1.5-2k higher than anyone I contacted, including the company that was estimating the exact same unit. It's not often you see a MO company out pricing the JOCO, KS companies but this is one such instance.

The person who made the service call was the owner and he is extremely knowledgeable. I was glad to have his expertise. After the work was done we have not had any problems at all.

We have Padgitt out twice a year as we have a wood burning stove in our basement and burn about 2 cords of wood a year. They are always prompt and honest and I would use them again and recommend them to anyone who asked for a reference.

The job went very quickly. I was pleased that they were able to get it done before winter.

They were very professional. They gave a nice booklet all about chimneys and showed us how to work the fireplace that was new to us. They called back and came out timely. Very explanatory.

The sales associate was very helpful and we found just what we needed. In addition, we were shown and purchased some really wonderful cleaning products that I didn't even know about. The prices were very reasonable and the selection was great!

Gene Padgitt, while pricey, is a top notch craftsman. Other Chimney repair companies were afraid to touch the project. Padgitt accomplished and restored the fireplace and chimney to perfection.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE FROM PADGITT CHIMNEY & FIREPLACE. THEY WERE ALWAYS ON TIME, FRIENDLY AND VERY CAREFUL TO KEEP MY HOME'S EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR CLEAN. GENE CAME BACK SEVERAL TIMES TO TEST AND ADJUST THE LEVEL OF GAS NEEDED FOR THE FIREPLACE, AND THE CREW DID A GREAT JOB MATCHING THE OLD, NO LONGER IN PRODUCTION BRICK FOR THE CHIMNEY EXTERIOR. I WAS THRILLED WITH THE SERVICE AND THE END RESULT. IN ADDITION, THE OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PATIENT AS I WORKED TO SUBMIT THE PAPERWORK NECESSARY FOR MY HOME IMPROVEMENT LOAN.
