Artisan Roofing and Guttering

They were excellent to work with.... Matthew gave an estimate in which he did not deviate from. (no extra surprises)...He also worked with me on a timeline that had to be met... The crew was punctual for when the job schedule was scheduled. The guys on the job were professional, curtious, and very knowledgable about what they were doing. They completed the job very quickly and kept the surroundings very clean. I have already recommended Artisan Roofing & Guttering to a family member.

Matthew called us and met with us and gave us a proposal . We had one more proposal after his. We liked Matthew best and thought he had a better cover for us. We called him and he said he would call us as soon as he got supplies in and schedule us to come out. He did and was at the house when he said he would be. He had a good crew that finished in a half of a day. When we met him to pay he got on the roof and took movie pictures of the job all the way around the house so we would not have to climb a ladder to see. Very helpful to us, as we are senior citizens and it is hard for us to climb ladders. We did appreciate his thoughtfulness and job well done.

We knew that we had to have new gutters for the last few years and have just put it off. Realizing that the problem was only getting worse and could start to affect the foundation, we called and got bids from four different companies. Artisan was not the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive. From all the questions we where asking they where providing the same materials and putting them onto the house in the same manner as the next two higher bids but came in under their bids by $700 and $1200. Once I called Matt and accepted his bid he told me that he could have me on the schedule within 8 days, which was fine by us. Four days later he called and explained that they had a job put on hold and would we like them to come out the next day and get the job done. We told them sure, and the next day the crew was out bright and early and got the job done in a timely manner. When they where finished they came to the door and took my wife on a walk through of the job. She pointed out one thing that she didn't like how it looked and they took care of it immediately to her satisfaction.The next day, I saw where they had put on the fascia, and was not totally pleased with how it looked. I called Matt and the next day he was out to look at it with me and saw the angle that I was looking at it and agreed that it could be done better, and they had it done that day. I appreciate that they where willing to complete the job to our satisfaction down to the little things.If you need guttering done, this is a great company to call and work with. The neighbors have even commented on how much nicer it makes the house look. We had our first big rain the other night and did not have any of the leaking problems we where starting to see, so it was a good investment.

Two men from Artisan came and worked for about an hour and a half. Both were friendly and informative and seemed (to the best of my knowledge) to be very competent. They performed all the tasked in the contract, and also at no additional charge did some caulking that I asked for at the time of service. They also found a small but important problem with the guttering that they fixed. I rated Price as B rather than A just based on the hourly charge - not on any comparison with other bids, but I thought their work was worth any extra cost. I rated Punctuality as B because they had to reschedule and were a little late; this was not a problem for me but maybe others would have been inconvenienced.

I was referred to Artisan Guttering, a family-owned company after researching several others on Angie's List. The job was done within two weeks of the estimate. After a couple of rains, we found an area that kept puddling. It took two tries and several weeks of rescheduling but it looks like we got the problem fixed. Matt was very personable, professional and committed to fixing the problem. He explained the job thoroughly and made sure I was satisfied with the job. I think the price was very reasonable and in line with other bids.
