+ -1 moreGreat ladies working there and all three were knowledgeable about the process of recreating a key. We showed up hoping they would be able to make the key and they went right to work on it. About 30 minutes later we had a working key and copies of some others that we needed.
Description of Work: Recreated keys for a Harley Davidson motorcycle that had been lost and copies of a couple of other keys.

+ -1 moreThey didn't have any keys for that, but that was fine. About 15 years ago, I had to have some work done on a front lock. With the suitcase, they were able to find an alternative. It was one of those things that was trivial. They honestly did their best to help me find something that would fit, so they wouldn't have to cut off the lock. They did end up having to cut it off.
Description of Work: I had a lock on my suitcase I couldn't open.

+ -1 moreThe service man showed up sprayed WD-40 and tightened the bolts. The whole process took about five mins and I was charged $75.00. I called back the next day because the deadbolts were acting up again. When I mentioned that they should be working great for $75.00, I was told that I was lucky, because I should have been charged $100.00.
Description of Work: I hired Ace to fix two deadbolts that were not working correctly.

+ -1 moreThey said they couldn't do what I asked, so they replaced everything new instead of using the equipment I provided them. Later I talked to three other locksmiths, explained the situation, and all three said they would have been able to do that. I called the company not to make them redo it but just to make them aware that the technician gave me wrong information. They wouldn't let me talk to the person in change and eventually hung-up on me. They basically lied to me.
Description of Work: I hired them to replace and/or coordinate locks on our doors so they would all take one key.
