SUZIE PAINTS

I hired Suzie Paints to paint the entire interior of my house, except my kitchen which had already been painted. It was a two woman crew who did the work, Suzie and her daughter, and they arrived precisely when they said they would and worked hard the entire time. It was a big job, and they were in my house for a week, and usually in a situation like this, I get very annoyed with a contractor, but Suzie and her daughter were so precise, so professional that by the end, I was sad to see them go. Their attention to detail was fantastic. They even removed bathroom mirrors to paint behind them just in case I ever decide to change the mirror to one of a different shape. I've NEVER seen a painter go to that kind of effort and think of the future like that. I was amazed. They vacuumed beneath all of the furniture and left the house cleaner than they started. They were absolutely wonderful. To top it off, in the end, Suzie presented me with a folder containing all of the information about the paints used for each room in case I needed to purchase more paint or take it somewhere for curtains, etc. Such a nice touch. I would absolutely hire her again and I would gladly recommend her to all of my friends.

It was a great experience. I had colors picked out from another house that we saw and they were bright. Suzie met with me and we walked through my chosen colors and she had a lot of good ideas. Her and her daughter spent about one month at my house making it look beautiful. She used the expensive paint that I requested and put 2 coats on everything. Every line was perfectly straight, no drips and no runs. Cleaned up after the job and left no mess. The best experience that I have ever had with a painter. Does quality work and I don’t think that I will be having to ask her to come back and touch up or fix anything.

I have used Suzie a few years ago so I knew I was getting a top quality painter. She and her daughter first had to smooth out the walls after we removed wallpaper from the room. She then put a primer on and then painted. I used the color grey. It was her idea to put a darker grey on the back wall for punch and it worked out beautifully. Suzie and her daughter arrive on time and are professional in every way. They clean up after each day and stay focused on the job. Suzie has a great eye for color and gives guidance when needed. Suzy is amazing. She makes samples and really works with you to get the desired look you really want. She also painted a pillar in my great room to the look of marble- matching the color of my decor, did wood and metal faux paint finish on upper and lower base. It turned out gorgeous.

Our overall experience was excellent. Suzie and her helper arrived on time. She reviewed what she was going to do to be sure that we were all in agreement. She consulted with us as work progressed. As the work progressed she cheerfully accepted any requests that we had for changes or additions to the work plan or to the colors used. She offered suggestions when appropriate. When the painting was done, the furniture was returned to its original location, the rooms were cleaned (vacuumed) and, in general, returned to their original condition. We were completely satisfied with her quality of work, attention to the details of the work and to our satisfaction with the work.

She and her assistant were in and out of our home in one day. They were fast, efficient and highly professional. We would have them back for all paint jobs that we have to do.

I called the phone number on her website and left a message. Suzie responded promptly and set up an appointment that week. She brought examples of her work as seen on her website. I expressed what look I wanted with colors and texture using her board examples. She gave me the bid by the next day and let me know when she would be able to start the work. When someone else rescheduled, Suzie let me know she could begin earlier. She brought new examples using the colors and textures I had wanted. We agreed on the color and finish, and Suzie confirmed that she had liability and workmen' comp insurance. The contract was signed, and work began immediately. She sought my reaction throughout the painting to make sure I was pleased with the work. The area was cleaned up thoroughly. She completed the job in two days with the help of her daughters. The whole process took a week from the first phone call to the finished work.
