Excellent work. They were communicative before arriving, efficient while here, friendly, and good at explaining what they were doing. I will be hiring them again next time I need maintenance done.

This company overcharged me on R22 freon. They charged $195 per pound which is way above the market rate $90-150. They were not very honest and I will definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone. This is not an honest way to make a buck.

Contractor was not on time and could not remember the size of unit we discussed but the installation was smooth and he was courteous and respectful. The price was reasonable.

Sam is awesome! My water heater went out right before Thanksgiving. Every where i called was quoting a couple weeks. Sam came next day was here right when he said he would be and was done in 2 hours. I highly recommend Liberty.

It went great. Was able to do it the same day we talked to Sam and very friendly and knowledgeable. Very happy with the service.

Sam drove out over an hour, late in the evening, to examine our water heater. He found it to be unusable and immediately drove to Home Depot for a new water heater and regulator. It took him less than an hour to install so we could be comfortable and have hot water again. He left our home late with a long drive home. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. We would call him again with any plumbing needs.

Sam Marsala was very good at diagnosing my furnace trouble, the fix was simple to my relief. My water heater was on its last legs. Sam diagnosed the trouble and we had Sam install a new Raheem water heater. He was very quick to respond to my needs and explained very clearly the trouble found. Installation was really done neatly and he left the work area very clean. I am more then satisfied with the work, product and technician. Well done.

Sam is honest and very professional, working 12 to 14 hours per day to keep his customers cool. We had work done on our A/C and he used all of his Freon on our A/C. Sam assured us he would return. Unfortunately, before Sam could return with more Freon, our thermostat quit working. We called Sam in the afternoon and he assured us he would stop by. Sam did call on his way and he arrived a few minutes before 9 pm. Sam is wonderful!

Sam was great. Had a extremely dirty system that would not function correctly or blow cold air. Had High Ridge Heating and Cooling here as he has done work before for me and parents. He took one look and stated we needed to replace entire a/c furnace unit for $3100. Told us it would cost about the same to clean. No way I could afford that so went on Angie's List to find someone and read Sam's review's. He came out and told me the cost at $425 to clean. Which was fantastic. He spent about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and did a wonderful job. Ended up paying total $625 once he was done and asked me before doing anything additional that would cost more. Also since our unit didn't have valves on system to reuse our refrigerant he had to put new in which was part of price increase. Sam, thanks so mich for not trying to take advantage.

My regular service had no openings for the following three days. I picked Sam and he agreed to come by at the time I needed him to check it out. A spare part was at hand and the furnace was fixed and running within 30 minutes.

The problem was diagnosed quickly as a failed capacitor that was replaced. I was also told that the relay needed to be cleaned and eventually replaced in the near future.

I want to thank Sam for showing up on such short notice. He was professional and polite and in no time was able to identify the issue. Not only was he able to identify but also explain what was going on before fixing the issue. Highly recommend! 👍

Hours per Angie's list say open on Sunday - our house was getting cold. I called and left a message. Never heard back. Still haven't. So, what's the point of leaving a message of no one calls you back. Clearly not interested in helping. And look, if you don't want to work on Sundays, then have hours that reflect that - it makes sense. But if your hours say 'open all day' on Sunday, I think you could be available. And if you can't, then return the call and say, 'sorry, I am booked up or whatever'. But to totally ignore a call and keep us waiting to call someone else thinking you might return our call, that's terrible and it delayed getting our problem fixed by someone who actually returns calls.

This is my first time using Angie's List. I found Liberty Heating and Cooling in my area with good reviews so I decided to give them a chance. It was after hours and Sam answered right away. He told me he was waiting on his wife to come home before he could come over. While we were on the phone he said that she just pulled up and he was on his way. In under an hour my AC was back up and working better than before. Sam was a true professional and has earned a new customer. Thanks Sam!

Project: Repair or Service a Central Air Conditioning System Sam from Liberty is GREAT! I had my AC recharged earlier this year and they charged me $170 per pound for freon!! This is the dirty little secret..You (and they) can buy it for $29 a pound on the internet....so I lost the first round with SmartHouse??? overpaid for 2 pounds plus service call plus labor.....A month later. I accidetnally cut a hole in my line in the garage.lost 5 pounbds of freon.I called all the AC companies I could find and asked them how much per pound the cheapest was $85!! some for $150!! Oh they all lie to you "the price is going up" R22 freon will be outlawed in 2020 our costs have gone up" BS! they all want to stick you for maybe an extra $600 wihtout you knowing it if you need 5 pounds. They are all con artists and liars . I checked with about 5 companies and got the cheapeast bid of $1000 ish and most around $1300! I told them I knew about the mark up on freon and they all did their little tap dance. I finally found Sam on Craigslit under services rendered...Called him he said he would give me a fixed price he knew all about the markup scam! He got the job done for $525!! Sam is a hard worker and didint show up til 7pm and had one more call that night after me! He welded my pipe vac'd the system and charged it up as good as new! While most of these AC company rackets try to get rich off of each job. Sam has a different philosophy he gives a fair deall and justs works harder than everyone else and makes it up on volume. Also he is a one man company so he has very littel overhead...One slight complaint..he hinted that he would be over by 4:15 PM but didn't make it til 7pm as he has other jobs he said were"ahead of me" I suspecet he got a job that he would lose if he didnt take it right away and could tell I would wait....Just a guess....Anyway it was worth the wait ...they say you can get Good Fast OR Cheap Pick 2. Oh and here is a warning ..If you ask for after hours service from any of the established crooked companies get ready to pay $249 a pound for freon!!!! Less
