Great

I had to call them to get the quote because they were so busy that they forgot to send it to me. They were very okay but I had to follow up with them; they apologized. They were the most expensive quote that I have got. They came right out but I did not use them because their quote was high.

Everything went great. The awning is perfect. The price is about half what we were quoted by 2 other companies.

The installers arrived, (an hour late) but did a descent job, considering it was very hot that day. They installed the awnings quickly and then started on the patio cover. This took some time as they had to assemble it step by step. The sales rep did not measure correctly and the cover needed an extra support. The support the installers put up was not acceptable to us, so we called the office and were connected to Marvin, the founder's grandson, and he and his son came out the next day, did an inspection of his installer's workmanship and said he would fix the problems. (there was also an issue with the caulk job that was done because we could see it from our upper deck and it was very unsightly). Marvin and his son arrived that same week and made everything right. We are now very pleased with the products and service we received. I would absolutely recommend this company and their products to anyone looking for awnings and/or patio covers. It was a pleasure doing business with a company that still takes pride in their work and reputation. This was evident in the generational trade being passed on from the Grandfather that started this business to the great grandson now learning the trade. Too bad more business don't possess these traits.....

They were prompt and did exactly what they contracted for and cleaned up in a very efficient manor. Plan to use them again

I contacted the only two companies in the St. Louis area that replace aluminum awnings. Glenlo was almost a thousand dollars lower with their bid. Their estimate was written in the exact format the insurance company could read without having to make several more calls to explain themselves or fight to add additional materials or labor. Everything was broken down by elevation, and specific windows with cost and labor broken down for each awning as well. From the time I contacted Al, to the day I paid Rachael everyone was professional, helpful and kind. Installation was scheduled for the week they would be on vacation, and Glenlo was able to work with them and complete the job before they left. Everyone that has visited the house raves about how beautiful the house looks with the new awnings and porch rail. I did not have a chance to talk with the installers, however my mother in law said they were very kind and hard workers. The installation was done to perfection. A lien waiver was sent along with the bill for final payment with a contingency to check with the company to make sure final payment was received. Once it was paid Rachael sent another lien waiver without the contingency notice. Since we were working with an insurance company they even allowed extra time for the final payment if it was needed. I couldn't be happier with the service and workmanship from Glenlo. I highly recommend this company.

They were very good. We shopped around and they had very competitive price. They were knowledgeable. They did not try to hard sell me on something different than what I wanted. They had pretty much what I had before. The only thing that I would say, was out of their control, was the fact that we were repairing storm damage and we had to wait for a few months because they were real busy, but good companies get busy so I do not hold that against them. They were here when they said they were going to be here. They cleaned up after themselves. Everything was good about the company.

T HE ESTIMATE PROCESS WAS THE MOST PROFESSIONAL I HAVE EVER HAD DONE I SAW A SKETCH OF WHAT I WAS GETTING AND WHEN THE TIME CAME TO INSTALL IT WAS SOONER THAN EXPECTED THE WORK DONE WAS SWIFT AND WELL DONE I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM

It took about three (3) months for Glenlo to acquire the materials and ready them to be installed. They called in advance of the installation to keep us informed and to make sure that we would be expecting them to start on the awning. They showed up on time and proceeded with the installation. My son had to go to work before they were finished, so we did not see the finished product until the next day. My son called within a day or so and expressed concern that the awning was not installed to his expectations. My wife and I went to see what he was concerned about the next day. Upon inspection we found that the gutter drain was installed on the wrong side and the awning panels seemed to have minor damage (probably from installation). We then took our concerns to Glenlo and they were receptive and scheduled a follow up to correct the situation. About a week or so later Glenlo had addressed our concerns and we went back to check things out. This time they had the down spout on the correct side and had replaced the damaged panel, so things seemed to be O.K. except that the down spout now was very visible from standing on the deck, not placed behind the support post (this to me had a bad appearance), plus we were concerned about how the support posts were mounted to the deck. We again went to Glenlo and expressed out concerns. This time I spoke with Mr. Lloyd Rudloff (president) about the installation problems. He personally came over and did an inspection, at which time he aplolgized for the problems and guaranteed that Glenlo would make things right. A couple of weeks later (this was due to the holidays and bad weather) Glenlo came back and corrected everything to our satisfaction. I know that this seems like a lot to go through but all this happened in the fall & winter which helped as my son was not using the deck and I was really impressed with the determination shown by Glenlo awning to overcome any problems and get the job done right and to out satisfaction. I would recommend this company to anyone in the market for an awning and I will definitely contract with them again.

My experiance was fine with Glenlo other than their pricing was not competitive and I assume they get their business from people who do not shop around. I suggest before anyone spends $3,186 for awnings they call Specialty Awnings for a bid. That $1,186 feels much better in my pocket than in Glenlo's. Glenlo's may give outstanding service, but I know Specialty Awning gives outstanding service and outstanding pricing based on past experience.

Everything went well. I have no complaints at all.

The product seems to be very good and they completed the job quickly. They really worked with our existing structure.

I called the company for a bid. They promptly called me back and then came to my home within a day or two to look at the project. They immediately called me back to give me the bid. The company representative, Al Johnson, then met with me at my home to get my signature to do the work. The following week, the awnings were removed as promised. They did an excellent job and were prompt and very professional. Of course, they are in the awning business and so they would have been happy to sell me new awnings. I was not interested in that at this time. Mr. Johnson was very nice and gave me his card and asked that I consider his company if I do decide in the future to get new awnings. He was not high pressure about this. I would most definitely call this company if I do decide to get awnings. I also like the fact that they recycle the metal and do not just dispose this material in a landfill.
