I don't recommend calling them. They are a ripoff

Beware when calling this company! We called them to do a job, they never showed up so we had to call someone else because the situation was an emergency. They ended up billing us for $135. We called the company to dispute the charge as they never stepped foot in our home. We were told that we had to pay the $135 anyway. It is crazy. We have camera surveillance showing they never came into my hone, nor did they talk to us so we let them know that we would not be paying them anything. They have now put a lien on our home and we are suing them as we feel they shouldn't be doing this to people. NOT A GOOD BUSINESS!!!! We work in real estate and would not recommend them to anyone.

They were on time and were able to come in the evening after hours to our rental property. The plumber fixed the drain and the issue with a clog in the main line. The plumber did leave the mess behind in the laundry room and told the tenants that he did not have the proper equipment to clean it (a area of about 20 sq feet that could have been cleaned with a squeegee and a trash bag in about 10 minutes). They also billed for excessive time (job was about a 30 minute task of running a snake into and easily accessible line for about15 feet) being billed to 1.5 hours. I will likely look for someone else next time.

This complaint on Drain Surgeons is due to them sending an unqualified service representative to our residence. Due to his inexperience with troubleshooting drain problems I was charged for two visits on two separate days and for two men and two vans. In review, this service call only required cabling of a bathroom where we had already removed a toilet due to the install of new bathroom flooring and took the second fellow about 4 hours to perform. The first worker named Eric came alone the first day and worked on a cleanout riser in the home and had no success. We told him that the bathroom was where we were having trouble and although the toilet pipe was available for cabling he never used the cable at that location but told us that we needed a gas jetter and that would require a second person to make sure that he did not back the water into the house. When asked if this would solve the problem, his answer was that he was 97% sure that this would solve the problem. The next day 2 vans came and Rodger, obviously the lead person , tried using the gas jetter. After no success, he asked Eric why he had not first used the locator to find the lateral drain pipe. He next used the locator, found the lateral, and then proceeded to cable the toilet drain that we first told Eric about initially and unclogged the drain. I agreed to let Rodger use a camera to look at the condition of the drain pipe, a $100 charge. I asked Rodger and Eric if the charges related to the gas jetter would be removed and they both said yes. When I asked Eric to show me an invoice when they were ready to leave he said that he could not print an invoice as he only had an iphone. I was counting on the fact that since I had reached this service through Angie's list that they would respond appropriately and take off the extra charges.However when I called them, they only wanted to take off $135 and said the owner would not speak to me about this overcharge. Since this was charged to my Discover, I disputed this charge with them and they computed a credit of $1215 was owed to me. I would warn anyone not to use Drain Surgeons as they are an unethical business and should not be allowed on Angie's list. b

I had a backed up drain on a sunday. called drain surgeons, spoke with steve, who was 'oncall' for the day. he was very responsive on the phone, explained my options, answered my questions we decided he should come today, to snake the drain from the stack on the roof. problem solved, Steve was delightful. very professional experience I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others.

It went well and no more issues . Lots of paper and waste in old pipes

My licensed plumber, Eric, arrived promptly and with the tools ready to start. His company, Drain Surgeons, was actually dispatched by J and E Plumbing. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and his union training and experience showed. I was confident he was able to diagnose and clear the drain quickly and efficiently, and he didn't disappoint. I am glad I called J and E, and through them, found Drain Surgeons. Eric noted that they mainly do commercial work, and even have cameras that can get into 4and quot; drain pipes (or larger) to locate blockages if they can't find it with the reel and quot;snakeand quot;, or see if the problem is a collapse or roots blocking the pipes.
