Description of Work: Recently we moved to our new house and used the Adams Moving company as was recommended by many people in Angie’s List. The men arrived on time, moved and assembled our furniture without any scratches, installed the washer and dryer in such a nice, professional, and friendly way that I forgot that moving should be a painful and stressful process.

Description of Work: I was looking to move in June. I called trying to find a time to schedule. My original scheduled date was 14 days away. They confirmed but then called back later that day and said that it had to be done that night and my property would stay on their truck. We weren't able to get a schedule set.

Description of Work: a family member had used Adam's and was very impressed. So we have used them twice. Both times, they have been very professional, very courteous. They were quick but careful. They we just a bit late but not bad. I am very impressed that Adam, the owner actually comes along and works! |I am getting older and have a bad back and fibromyalgia and can not longer lift things like that so it is nice knowing I have someone I can call and they will take care of me.

Description of Work: They moved furniture for us from a small house to a bigger house, and then came back a few weeks later to move all of the boxes.

Description of Work: I have used Adam's to move my office twice before, and I was satisfied with their service. This time, I called them two weeks in advance of the move, and reminded them that they had moved this furniture a year before. They said that they remembered, and we set noon on April 25 as the time for the move. I was told that they had another morning job, so it might be a little past noon before they arrived. At nearly 1:00 p.m., they called and said that they were on their way. At 2:30 p.m. they arrived with a truck and two men. When they came upstairs to my office, they lifted my desks by the corners and then went out to the truck for about 15 minutes. When they came back, they said that the desks were too heavy, and that they were not going to do the job! I reminded them that they had move the desks into the office, and their response was "we are older now and just cannot handle that weight on those stairs." They really left me in the lurch! I had to be out and have the office cleaned by May 1 - that is why I scheduled them to come on Friday, the 25th. I had to call another mover, and could not find one that could do the job before April 30. Fortunately, the company that I did get had the right equipment, and was able to do the job easily with only two men. Unfortunately, I was not able to be out of the office by May 1, so I lost my entire deposit. Adam's not only did not do the job, they cost me $700!!!

Description of Work: I would highly recommend Adams Moving. These young men are brothers and they were punctual, precise and hard working. They were very friendly and professional. They put together furniture, moved boxes to the appropriate room, worked hard during their time with you so that you got your monies worth. I would definitely recommend their service.

Description of Work: I needed a truck and men to help put my home in storage. There were two seperate places for storage. It was very last minute, but, Adam was there.

Description of Work: Two men moved my apartment locally. They had the apartment loaded, moved and unloaded in 4 1/2 hours, had a great sense of humor (it was pouring down rain--humor helped), and worked very hard. I would recommend them to anyone.
