Stoyko's Tree Service

I would give them 5 stars, most excellent! I saw them working in the neighborhood and asked them to estimate cost on work we needed. They gave a reasonable bid Which I accepted and then did the work same day! They did a great job of cleaning little limbs out of the tree, opening it up, carefully taking down two big limbs overhanging the house. No damage to deck, moved deck furniture before starting. They used rakes and blower to clean up deck and drive after grinding branches and hauling big limbs away. Their price was very reasonable compared to other companies' estimates. The oak tree looks beautiful again!

We have been long time customer of Stoyko's . In June of this year we had them bid and excepted their bid to trim our 2 trees. However, due to our time frame and the weather we agreed to postpone our trimming until this fall. Upon returning to the LSMO area we begin to call Stoyko's to schedule our tree trimming. Our phone calls were either a delay response by them or not returned at all. When we did get to talk to someone they would never set a appointment time. It was always maybe in another week or so we will call. They never came and they never set an time. This went on for several months (Sept, Oct). Finally we hired someone else who did a fantastic job within a week of our 1st phone call. So disppointed in Stoyko's. You may close our account.

They gave me a quote and performed the work on the same day. The guys did an excellent job and cleaned up all the debris. Very happy with the results and would definitely hire again.

They did an excellent job of reshaping and trimming the trees. They removed the branches that I asked them to. They provided excellent service and it took them less than two hours to complete the job. They removed all of the debris. I would highly recommend them!

Their estimate was lower than most I received. They brought heavy equipment and two work crews to guarantee the tree didn't damage the house or deck. The work was done safely and quickly. They crews did a great job with the cleanup.

Stoyko contacted us 2 days prior to doing the service as planned and were on time. The guys working were professional and did a great job overall.

Their pricing is very good. Their work is very good. Yes, I would use them again.

My yard was full of large limbs after that bad storm. It took them a week to come but they were booked solid. When they got here they went to work clearing limbs and trimming the dead ones. I watched as they removed a limb dangling over my wood fence. They got the limb and saved the fence. They also had to remove a section of fence to get their machine in my back yard. There were mums in the way so they dug up the mums, removed the fence panel, then when the work was done, they planted the mums back and put the panel back up. They raked the yard and my place looks wonderful now.

I don't know how he stays in business! He appears to me to not have people skills. He also seems to me to be directionally challenged! Apparently, he was hired to trim bushes in my neighbors backyard after trimming her tall trees in her front yard.

They did a wonderful job. I couldn't have been more pleased. I will hire in the future. Very personable and friendly. Got right to work and finished in a quick amount of time.

It went very well. They showed up when they were supposed to. They took down the trees just exactly what I asked for and took what I asked them to take and left what I asked them to leave. They did a good job and the price was fair.

Very well. They are professional, courteous, and friendly. They removed the majority of the debris leaving only sawdust .

I called and they came out promptly to give us an estimate. We were happy with the estimate as it was lower than other estimates we had received. They also worked us into their schedule for the following week and the tree was removed with a week from our first contact. I wasn't home for the removal, but when I came to check, everything looked great and they left the front yard very clean. The other trees that were trimmed looked great. Would highly recommend and we'll be using them again for tree trimming in the future!

They came out and quoted $350 to do the job, I told him I hoped to pay less, and he said he could do it for $200 in the winter when they weren't busy. I waited until January and called them back. They didn't remember the quote from last summer but he said that if he quoted $200 he'd do it for $200. I told him, just work it in, I'm in no hurry. About 2 weeks later, they came out with their equipment and crew, cut down the tree and branch, raked up everything, hauled it all away, were friendly and professional, all for $200. I highly recommend them. Their card says they are licensed and insured. They are a family run company and they said they had been in business 50 years. I had just gotten another quote from Eden Tree Service for the same work for $650 (or $434 based on the discount using an Angies list "Deal" where you prepay). $200 is a lot better than $650 or $434.

I took advantage of a big deal for tree service. I needed my river birch trimmed back from the house and the clean out of dead branches. Because of the backlog of jobs they had to do, it took over a month to get the work done. However, they did a great job! My main concern was not having the tree limbs on the house and they cleaned that up so I have a couple of years before it will have to be done again. They also cleaned up all the dead branches, etc. within the tree and gave it an overall trim. It didn't take them long to get the work done and they cleaned up when they were done. Rob and the crew were very professional and very informative. They identified the trees I have in my backyard and a problem with the ash trees. I would use them again and would recommend them to my friends and family. I would advise though not to be in a hurry because they are busy!

Signed up for the Big Deal on Wednesday, the 18 March. Angie's List promptly processed my Discover Card for the two services I had selected from Stoyko's Tree Service for $525. (Order No's. 1842754 & 1842764). I had selected two possible service dates (Friday the 20th and then the 27th March). I figured the 20th might be a bit quick for them, but figured it might work out to get an estimate on that date for the 6 trees that needed to be removed and their stumps grinded. Angie's List says you should expect to hear something within 48 hours. The next week, Tuesday the 24th, still nothing heard, I sent an email to Stoyko's Tree Service - through Angie's List, giving them my phone number. I figured that maybe they didn't get it through Angie's List for some reason and I wanted to make sure they had it. Still no reply 24 hours later. I called Rob Stoyko's number on Wednesday the 25th, and after a few rings, the call just dropped. So I call the Angie's List help line and spoke to Beth. She stated that she would have someone run it down. I was informed on Thursday the 26th, that Angie's List personnel had sent Rob Stoyko an email as well, and that they were also able to leave him a voicemail - asking him to please contact me as soon as possible. On Monday the 30th of March, (12 days (8 full business days) since I signed-up for the Big Deal) I still had heard nothing from Stoyko's Tree Service. I called Angie's List and asked for a refund. I spoke to Josh who informed me that the Big Deal would immediately cancel the request with Stoyko's Tree Service and promptly refund my money. Which they promptly did. I then hired a different tree service company.

Their clean-up was excellent. They did what they said they were going to do.

They were on time, did the work, were pleasant, were very knowledgeable, and did a good job.

Just had a bid, didn't go with them due to the fact that we had a 50% off coupon elsewhere, otherwise I would have felt very comfortable using Rob's crew. Very professional, succinct, and pleasure talking to.

Stoyko's Tree Service did a fantastic job! Prompt, professional, and highly skilled. Both trees were within 15 feet of the house and removal process could not have gone any better. Their team brought down large sections and carefully maneuvered using ropes to gently bring them down to avoid hitting the house. They also brought to the site an impressive array of equipment (chippers, stump grinder, track loader, etc) that ensured they were equipped for the task at hand. Although the team had to haul some of the debris 100' or so, the equipment did NOT damage the lawn! I certainly recommend Stoyko's Tree Service. Great service, highly skilled, at the right price.

The job was performed very neatly and professionally. The snow had covered a large root around the front stump and it was missed on the original visit. I called them explained the situation and they came back and removed the long root. The entire process went very smoothly.

I have used this company twice for tree removal over the past several years. Both times the price was extremely reasonable and the company overdelivered by helping with other tree issues while on site. After my two experiences i wouldn't think to bid out future jobs with other tree removal providers. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent results. We have hired Shane and Stoyko Tree service for years. The whole team is always professional and are very knowledgeable regarding what needs to be done to our trees. Plus they take the time to share with us why the are doing what the have suggested and what the benefit it will be for the house, yard and especially the trees. Price was good, the best of four estimates. Showed up with a crew under the management of the owner, Eric Stoyko. They did not use a bucket truck, but instead a worker named Charlie climbed the tree under Eric's guidance and cut the limbs while on the tree. This was fascinating to watch, even though a little scary to see someone that far up on a dead silver maple. Then they safely pulled the tall trunk down with ropes to guide it to the intended spot. Charlie then climbed the big pine to trim it. some of the cutting on other trees were done by pole-saws, I guess. I did not see all of it because I was too fascinated by the work on the silver maple going on at the same time as the guys in the front were working on the pin oaks. They cleaned everything up, cut up the branches, and hauled everything away. I got a very good price by having them do so much at one time. They were pleasant and well-mannered. It was kind of exhilarating to see so much accomplished by early afternoon. The yard looked so much better.

These guys are unbelievable. Price was very competitive much better than other bids. They arrived on time, did exactly what they said they would do, cleaned up every bit of debris and left. Came with a large crew including the owner. Made recommendations to add some work and delete some that we weren't sure about. I have and would recommend them to anyone.
