Chris and his team were amazing to work with on our home! We purchased our home in October 2019, and had began doing the interior painting on our own initially. Due to a new addition to our family, we had an expedited timeline, so I reached out on Angie's List for options on my project. Chris and his team came in, explained what they were bidding in detail, and were able to get in quickly to take care of the project. We could not have been more happy with the results! Their attention to detail and passion for the project was amazing. They completed the remaining interior walls, baseboards, door frames, and interior doors for us. What we also liked about DH Painting was that they were more than happy to share their knowledge with us for use on other (smaller) projects. This was our first experience hiring professional painters, and we have certainly found our pros for the next time. Our next project is the exterior of our house, and we certainly know who will be taking on that project for us. 10/10 and an A+ for DH Painting!

David and his son are the best team i have ever hired. The work was excellent with daily reviews as to what would be accomplished each day. Always on time, cleaned up when finished and priced right. I was so impressed that Dave will be doing all my exterior painting as the weather permits. One weekend Dave came and hung sheetrock, taped and painted same. How many contractors do you know that will give a customer a weekend. These guys are awesome and should be respected for who they are and what they do for the customer. Can't wait for warm weather.

Excellent! Had to fire the original painters. DH Painting came to the rescue. Their knowledge, experience and dedication are worth every penny! They walked into a disaster and are leaving with my walls, trim, cabinets, doors, fireplace, vents etc. looking absolutely beautiful. I couldn't be more pleased. And talk about going above and beyond... I had countertop installation already scheduled when I hired them. I thought I would have to reschedule installation, but DH Painting worked 2 weekends - Sat & Sun 8am-5pm so I could keep my countertop installation date! I mean Wow! - Who does stuff like that??? DH Painting does. Good luck getting on their schedule. Consider yourself lucky if they can fit you in. If you have to wait - WAIT!

They did a fantastic job! Both interior and exterior look great! They painted my living room, kitchen, formal and eat in dining rooms, and exterior paint. They also stained all the wood on the front exterior of my house. They went above and beyond to fix any flaws and the were so reasonably priced. They were very professional and so polite. I wasn't home for most of the paining and felt very comfortable having them inside my house while I was gone. I would definitely recommend them!

They were wonderful. Chris Harris is an absolutely wonderful, very professional and clean. The edging was perfect and no paint spot in the floor. I have pine board on the fireplace painted. He did so much prep work. He was very through did an absolutely phenomenal job. Really really clean.

I received three estimates one month ago and David’s was low bid. Nice start. He came out to bid the job and started the job when he said they would, very punctual right down to their 8:00 am start time every day. The crew painted well, kept the job site clean, and were very friendly. Their extensive experience showed in everything they did. They even performed a few extra jobs about the house, just ask, they might be able to do the same for you. If you want to get the job done right, at a fair price, use DH Painting. You’ll be glad you did.

David and Chris were a great team to work with. They were punctual everyday, their sense of humor and professionalism made the project very personable. They went above and beyond my expectation and my house turned out great. Did I mentioned what experts these 2 young men are? They are very detailed and very proud of their work to perfection. Chris, and his crew, did a fantastic job. They were quick to respond in giving us a bid, thorough in going over our options, and flexible in finding a time to come in and do the work. Out of the three bids we got, they were also the most affordable. We had two rooms that needed extensive repair before painting. They were punctual in showing up to do the work, friendly and communicative through the whole process, in and out in the time they quoted for (two days). We plan to have them back to paint our kitchen some time in the near future. Highly recommended.

5 Star and Excellent!!! Chris and his dad David were amazing. My house is on sale and I have already moved out. I was visiting the house for only three days and wanted to get the interior paint done based on some of the showing reviews. Chris and David came and gave me great price and shuffle around their schedule to meet my timing needs. I also got highly discounted price in the paint using their name. Their crew worked extremely hard for two days and finished the job before promised time. And the quality of the work in outstanding. They covered the areas well, wore footies throughout while working and cleaned up after the job everything after the job was done. They also painted one extra wall for free upon my request. I don’t think I could have asked for anything more from them. They exceeded expectations in every front. Too bad that I moved out of KC and won’t get to use them again, but I would highly recommend their name to anyone looking for very professional and reasonable painter.

Very well.job wa completed in a short time with worker showing up on time as promised. Quality of work and attention to detail wad first rate. The right combination work quality, price and the right touch of humor. Would definitely recommend.

Everything went great. Prompt, dependable, and clean. Always cleaned up their mess before leaving for the day. They try to keep supply costs down. They painted our old house to sell and are now working on renovating our new house. David and Chris are a great team!! 👍🏼👍🏼

David and Chris did a fabulous job, better then I could of hoped for. They brought our 100 year old home back to new.

I live in a house built in 1912. When we bought it, the wrought iron fence was rusting, and the back staircase and 3rd floor were in poor condition with old wiring protruding from the walls, paint chipping off the walls and ceiling, and dry and cracking wood doors and built-in cabinets. On the recommendation of a neighbor who called DH Painting one of the best painters in town, I hired them initially to "re-paint" the staircase and 3rd floor. But they did so much more than that and wow it was good! They chipped, sanded, mudded and spackled. They replaced some of the crown moulding that badly needed it, and varnished the built-in cabinets. The difference was like night and day. David has been painting for his whole career (?30+ years) and he brings a ton of expertise to the table. He was great about explaining what he was doing every step of the way, and why each step was necessary to get the best finished product that would last the longest time and would make it the easiest for future painters to touch up. Regarding the wrought iron fence, I was impressed with their work ethic (this was done in the middle of summer in Kansas City) and their meticulousness. Now, my fence looks pretty much as good as an older wrought iron fence can look. Big picture - if you want excellent workmanship and a beautiful finished product, then I highly recommend DH Painting. I will certainly be hiring them in the future as we continue to repaint our house.

Dave Harris came out to bid the interior painting of our house, 2 days after I contacted him. He asked questions and wanted to know exactly what we expected. He took the time to explain what was the best route to take, for the best outcome. Dave gave us a reasonable bid and got to work 2 days later. Trim and walls were repaired and sanded. Dave, also did several things that were not in the bid free of charge just because he noticed the work needed to be done to make the job first rate. The house appeared brand new after Dave and his crew were finished. DH Painting will definitely be our painters for all future projects and I recommend them to all who want a professional and beautiful painting job done.

My shower leaked into my family room's ceiling. The drywall under the textured ceiling was cracked. David scraped the texture off, fixed the cracked drywall, and applied a new coat of texture and paint to match the existing covering. Everything looked perfect and uniform like there was never a leak or damage in the first place.
