About us

Upright Remodeling, LLC is a full service remodeling contractor specializing in, but not limited to, kitchens and baths. We are experienced in everything from structural work in older homes to custom finish carpentry. We are willing to work with your designer and/or architect or ours. We consistently finish jobs on time and on budget and we take pride in our high quality craftsmanship. What sets us apart from most other contractors is that we are extremely organized and make every attempt to keep our work area clean and separated from the rest of your house. Covering your floors and building temporary plastic walls to keep the dust contained in the work area is a standard procedure. We respect your home the way you do and we understand the inconvenience of having work done in your private space. We will make this process as comfortable for you as possible. We never have more jobs going on than we can handle so every customer gets the attention they deserve. We are a small company that operates out of a home office and have two employees. We do all of our own demolition and carpentry work. Our business philosophy is to do what we do well and sub out the rest to other contractors who do what they do well. Therefore, we sub-contract the plumbing, electric, some hvac work, excavation, concrete, masonry and some painting. We have a long history with all of our sub-contractors and trust them all. We have been in business for two years but have a total of thirty three years experience in the field. Our name is important and we protect that as best we can, therefore our word is good. We pay our taxes and are fully insured. We believe that it is right to pay our employees a livable wage and to give them a pleasant work environment. This, in turn, makes them happy and motivates them to take a personal interest in the well being of the company. We require a small down payment before scheduling any job (with the exception of small home repair). We also require payment for any materials before they are ordered. Payments are then required when the job starts and as work progresses, with a final small payment when the job is complete. We will not warrant any material that we do not provide but give a one year warranty on all material and labor that we do provide.

Price was fair. Workers showed up when they said they would and quality was excellent.
Description of Work: Installed drywall in basement family room, replaced hinged door and frame with a doorway and patched holes in other basement walls.
