PAUL BELKEN PAINTING

As a trustee of my subdivision and Angie's List member, I wish to file a complaint concerning Paul Belken Painting. The company was hired by my next door neighbor to paint the exterior of their home. Their 3 paint trucks parked alongside my subdivision's common ground and unloaded their equipment on the street and on the common ground. My subdivision does not allow commercial vehicles to park alongside its common ground, so Paul Belken's workers were in violation of my subdivision's indentures. On 3 separate occasions I politely asked the workers to move their trucks alongside my neighbors property. They complied the first 2 times, but refused the third time. By submitting this complaint I hope to forewarn potential customers of the lack of responsiveness and professionalism of Paul Belken Painting.

Now, here s a painter! He and his team were fantastic! They gave me a great bid and worked w/me to let me do the finish coat. Since I wanted and have smooth walls, they had to take care to keep the texture the same after the taping (something he talked over with the taper). So, they liquefied the dry wall mud and sprayed my whole house w/it to keep everything consistent. Then, they painted with white for the ceilings, semi-gloss for ceilings in bathrooms, and color on the walls I wanted color. After spray-painting the trim once before cutting (along w/pocket doors), they came in and puttied, caulked, and painted the trim again (using outdoor enamel both times). Then they painted the swing doors. Paul worked with me so that I could do the finish job with a friend (I wanted him to do it, but money got scarce). Paul always listened and worked for what I wanted. I couldn t be happier, and you should see my doors! I keep getting the compliments!
