Description of Work: They were quick to provide a free estimate. I didn't have to wait long for them to be able to do the work. They came out when they said they would, we're on time, and cleaned up thoroughly. We had we needed tuckpointing on some of the mortar that was above the roofline - all four sides of the chimney.

 + -1 moreWork team showed up a day early which was good for me but could be a problem if you had to take off work. They went about their business right away and cleaned up after themselves when they finished. While working they found some additional mortar cracking and asked if I would like them to repair it for a small additional charge. Overall I am pleased with their work and would hire again if needed.
Description of Work: Spot tuck pointing , rebuilt small section of brick porch, chimney tuck pointing and reflashing

 + 0 moreStopped by and gave a bid. We received numerous bids and this one was the most reasonable. He showed up on the day he promised and completed the work we requested. He checked the other brick on our house and recommended a crack below a window be repaired. He fixed the crack with no additional expense. He left no mess. I would recommend Gress Masonry & Tuckpointing.
Description of Work: Repaired top of chimney.

 + -1 moreI haven't inspected it but the people from Signature said it was well done. Nothing really stood out. He is probably better than most. I think that it is a kind of job that a lot of people get into because they think it is a quick buck and they don't really know what they are doing. I think that Steve Gress did a professional job.
