FRITZ STONE WORK

The owner and crew were polite and professional. The office staff kept me updated on the schedule. The bid was mid range. The wall, planter box and patio are beautiful. The problem was the overlay of the stairs. Initially I was told that the overlay was not included. However when I pointed out that the overlay was in the contract the crew returned. The bottom step is beautiful but the crew left one entire side of the steps uncovered and did not put pavers in front of the top step. When I emailed and asked them to return, I was told that they had done what they were supposed to do.

Fritz was great and really easy to work with. He's done a ton of work in my neighborhood and was very happy to give examples of the good work he's done in the past. I checked out a few of my neighbors work and it was beautiful. He was much more reasonable than a lot of the really big name companies, and was actually willing to do the work. Our backyard is somewhat difficult to access due to fences, and he was willing to haul everything in by hand if needed. I was told by three other companies that they wouldn't even consider the job if they couldn't get big machines in the back. Fritz also has a great working relationship with his suppliers, which made it extremely easy to pick out the pavers and materials that we wanted. His workers were by far the best part of the job. They were courteous, professional and made sure that everything was being built just as we planned. When I asked for recommendations, they were able to give their advice and help come to the right decision for what would look best in our yard. They showed up on time every morning and got right to work. They also made sure to clean up every day before they left. Overall, this is a great company that does really solid work. Would definitely hire them again for any patio/ stonework/ retaining wall needs! Thanks Fritz!
