Domestic Goddess Cleaning Service

I tried this cleaning company because it was cheaper than a previous company I had tried. HUGE MISTAKE. First of all, I'd like to address the "green products" label they have on here. They do not use green products. It took 24 hours to air out our house and rid it of the toxic smell we came home to. The entire house smelled like a bottle of Lysol and my family was pretty upset about it. I also noticed they were using Pledge to clean wood...any "professional" should know that Pledge is horrible for wood. I suspect they cleaned my 89 yr old grandmother's wooden desk with this because the floor surrounding her desk was incredibly slick (I had to wash the floor so she would not fall, my toddler was too quick though and he wiped out as soon as he entered her room). The disheveled pillows on our beds and couches were not even straightened, their price did not include bed making either I guess. Our kitchen just looked like a different kind of dirty as I came home to streaks on everything! Our counters looked like dirty water had been sloshed around on it. The kitchen faucet had not been wiped down- still build up and junk on it. The glass on our china cabinet also had horrible frosty streaks. Our desk and side table downstairs had a visible layer of dusk on them and clearly had not been touched. There are places on the floors where I found dirt and dust and the rugs did not look like they were vacuumed well. My vacuum does much better and I certainly don't have anything special. There were 4 people here for 2 hours, so I'm not sure what they were doing with that time. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed and I will not use this company or recommend it to anyone. So angry I let them in to my home and wasted my money. I have already scheduled a cleaning with the more expensive company to actually get my house clean. I've also used another cleaning service that ran me about $100. They did an okay job (about a B in my book) but they did MUCH better than this place. What a huge disappointment.
