The sales process was good, but of course that's what they exist for. They did a nice job in explaining process & lead times. The sub-contractors used for the concrete work and electrical work were great folks to work with. Unfortunately, though, the work (or lack of it) by the sub-contractor who actually assembled the room overshadowed any good done by the other folks, which is a shame. The construction sub-contractor was friendly, but they smoked and left their cigarette butts all over. His interest in correcting things we found wrong afterward was absolutely zero. Our room was finished in Sept. and we are still fussing to get things fixed. And worst of all is that after we had a hard rain we found water all over the inside. United Homecraft and the subcontractor don't seem too interested in getting this corrected. Very unprofessional and poor support. I would never use them again nor recommend them. This has been quite an expensive disappointment.

1. THE SUNROOM WE GOT WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT SALESPERSON TOLD US. WE WERE TOLD THAT THERE WILL BE GLASS FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE FLOOR TO THE ROOF. HOWEVER, THE SUNROOM THAT WAS DELIVERED WAS DIFFERENT. 2. THE SUNROOM WAS PRE-MANUFACTURED WITH A LOT OF ''UGLY'' JOINTS AND LOT OF AIR LEAKAGE. WE WEREN'T TOLD ABOUT THIS. 3. THE SUNROOM FAILED BALLWIN CITY INSPECTION FIRST TIME. 4. THE SUNROOM WAS SUBCONTRACTED TO ANOTHER SUBCONTRACTOR. UNITED HOMECRAFT USED TO BLAME THE SUBCONTRACTOR INSTEAD OF ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR QUALITY OF WORK. 5. UNITED HOMECRAFT TRIED TO ERECT THE SUNROOM ON AN EXISTING DECK WITHOUT CHECKING OUT STRENGTH OF THE SUPPORT. BALLWIN INSPECTORS HAD TO INTERVENE TO ADD ANOTHER TWO COLUMNS OF SUPPORT. 6. UNITED HOMECRAFT IS BASICALLY MARKETING COMPANY. SOMEHOW, THESE GUYS GOT HOLD OF SAMS EMPLOYEES AND STARTED SELLING THEIR AT SAMS. DON'T ASSUME THAT SAMS CLUB ENDORSEMENT PROVIDES QUALITY SERVICES FROM THESE GUYS. 7. DON'T BUY!
Description of Work: UNITED HOMECRAFT INSTALLED THEIR PRE-MANUFACTURED SUNROOM ON OUR EXISTING DECK.

HAD TO CALL SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE THEY RETURNED CALL TO SET APPOINTMENT. WE RECEIVED 5 ESTIMATES ON WORK--THEY WERE THE ONLY ONES WHO DIDN'T THINK A FOOTER WAS NECESSARY. IT SEEMS LIKE THEY WANTED TO CUT CORNERS.
Description of Work: REQUESTED A BID FOR DOING A PATIO ENCLOSURE. DID NOT HIRE TO DO THE WORK
