They came out quickly very and fixed it. He fixed a much bigger job than we thought it was.

Great experience overall. Technician was impressively professional, friendly and helpful. He explained what he was going to do and even showed me some things about my system I did not know. He did not try to charge me for repairs I did not need. He also did not try to sell me a humidifier filter, which I needed, but showed me how to change it myself and told me where I could purchase one if I wanted to do so. He explained the best way to replace the drainage hose as well. He was just an honest, everyday guy and it was a pleasure to work with him. I would absolutely recommend this company and I would use them myself again.

I was completely satisfied with Air Comfort as a company, from the person who answered the phone, to the technician who did the service. I would without reservation use them again and recommend Air Comfort to anyone who wants an honest reputable company to service their furnace.

As other people commented, the service technician that was sent to the house was courteous, explained what he did and offered a one year maintenance package (no high pressure sales). My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that we were given a very wide window of time on when the technician was going to show up; we were told any time after noon. The technician still had not shown up at 4:30 or 5:00, but we did finally receive a call around that same time that the technician was still coming, he was just running late. He eventually showed up around 5:30. Other than that, I was pleased with the service.

They did a good job and checked everything. They were very efficient and pleasant and very business like.

Overall, I was impressed with the associate and the work performed. The associate felt the reason I needed the extra freon was some bolts/screws were lose and that caused the freon to leak out. I should not worry and would not need freon in the future.

We purchased the service from angie's list deals. The company called us and set up a time for the service to be done. On the day of service the gentleman called to let us know he was on his way. He arrived and explained what he was going to do. I asked if he would show me how to clean the system so I could keep it running at it's best in this very hot summer. He was very happy to show me exactly what to do. He found that the system needed coolant and gave us a price before adding it. He checked everything again to make sure there were no other problems and told us about a service contract the company offered. There was no pressure to purchase the contract just giving the info. It was a very good and educational experience. I will definitely call them again!

Air Comfort did an excellent job on this inspection and checked things out thoroughly, including checking to make sure there was the right amount of freon in the AC unit. Everything was courteous and professional.

(Unfortunately, I did not get to use the coupon, as my air conditioner went out right after I bought the coupon. I ended up wasting this money. I would not buy one again. I did use them to install a new inside unit. I was very pleased with their services for the replacement.

The appt. was easy to set-up, the technician arrived on scheduled date on time. Work was completed as stated. We were, however, charged an additional $70 for refrigerant which was not part of the "deal," and we were not asked if we wanted it. I thought that was a little under-handed and the technician admitted to my husband that others had been bothered by that as well. Just think it should have been stated in advance or asked prior to adding.

Technician showed up later than expected, but was professional in all aspects. He explained the scope of the work, and told me things I can do to make the equipment last longer. I was completely satisfied with this experience.

Our prior experiences with this company--although always for minor issues--were good. This last time, we called a tech for an emergency call when our AC died on a Sunday night when it was 105 degrees outside. The service man came within one hour and quickly diagnosed our AC unit (which was 14 years old) as "dead" (this diagnosis DID turn out to be correct). He gave us two very expensive options for replacement of the outside unit, the refrigerant line and the "coil" located near the heater unit. His estimates ranged from $3900--$6200, depending upon the quality of the new unit we chose. Not wanting to spend that kind of money without a second opinion, I paid the technician the $150 service call and told him I would call him the next day. The next day we had another company come out who gave us the same "dead" diagnosis on our AC unit, however they offered to replace ONLY the outside unit, since it was the only thing wrong at the time, for almost half the price of what Air Comfort wanted to needlessly replace the refer line and coil. Ultimately, we just had the outside unit replaced and our AC system has been running perfectly ever since. I still think Air Comfort is a quality company, but their refusal to offer us alternatives to their suggestion of "total AC system replacement" was bothersome. I did some research and found out that there is nothing illegal or unethical about a company that replaces just the outside unit (without having to replace the refer line and coil) if that is the only problem with the system. Sure, we are still using the "old" kind of refrigerant in our system, but using this is still legal and it will be at least 30 years until this old kind of refrigerant is cycled out of every home in America.

We called them and they thought they had not moved the water heater vent during the installation but offered to split the cost of the repair with us. We weren't sure when it was done....perhaps when the previous furnace was installed. since this is a rental house we weren't there. We thought this was fair and were pleased with the outcome.

The technician was good at diagnosing the problem and fixed it in no time. However, he charged too much for 2 minutes of his time in addition to his tuning up of the AC unit which I've already paid through Angie's List. I don't think it's a good deal any more.

He was great -- especially evicting the mouse and making sure she couldn't return. He arrived earlier than the estimated time. Was personable, professional, and explained everything he did. I like to make sure that I have the system cleaned and checked twice a year to avoid any unnecessary breakdowns. I was pleased with his attention to detail. I highly recommend this company.

The company was very professional, prompt and courteous. Job went well - would hire them again with no hesitation.

We recently purchased a condo and, as part of the rehab, used one of the Angie's List deals to get the ac inspected. This is how we found Air Comfort. We liked that the technician allowed us to watch what he did and explained what they check. In addition to the inspection the only charge that day was for freon because the system was low. I liked that he could scan my credit card and provide the bill and receipt on site.Since the initial visit we have called them twice. The condo needed a new capacitor, I guess the extreme heat of this summer blew the old one, and my mother's ac went out and in this crazy heat we needed it fixed right away. I was not at mom's and don't know what they did but my brother was very pleased that they came after hours (it was 6 in the evening when we called and they were there by 8) and that they were so prepared to handle looking at the ac in the dark. My brother also felt that the service man was clearly experienced and knew exactly what to do. We have already recommended them to friends and will continue to use them ourselves. Since we are responsible for both of our mothers' homes as well as a couple of our own having reliable assistance lightens our load

Bedrooms on the second story were not cooling. Air Comfort came and determined we had several pieces of duct work that were leaking, bent, and not fuctioning. They also suggested installing a split a/c system. We had them correct the duct work issues and install an air cleaner for the house. We did not go with the split system a/c.

Great service! I called Air Comfort in the morning and the A/C was fixed in the afternoon. Service tech was very professional, explained the situation, provided recommendation, and what to do to prevent problems in the future. Note the $340 cost include a $170 annual service agreement that I signed up for.
