Perfect as usual - I have used Air Comfort for over 20 years at this home and my last home. They are consistent in sending out professional, knowledgeable people each visit. Have had a maintenance contract for many years and have had new HVAC and humidifiers installed by them and always satisfied,

I was trying to install a Hunter thermostat in place of a 20+ year old one. After working with Hunter tech services I could not get the wiring correct and ended up frying an electronic component on the furnace. Air Comfort had someone out within 3 hours and he was able to replace the part and correct the wiring. The technician was outstanding and explained what he was doing, while he figured out the wiring.. I purchased a maintenance agreement at the time and got a discount on the service. The M/A was $158 and includes 2 visits and various discounts and priority service (very reasonable). The 1st checkup was on 9/22 and the new technician spent far more time than anyone had previously to clean and check the operation. He corrected the gas pressure which had been way too low and vacuumed thoroughly. We discussed the overall condition of this very old unit. Again, this 2nd technician couldn't have been more professional and polite. He did not try to talk me in to replacing unneeded parts, (as a previous company had done) and the cost was $0.00. Perfect experience. I would recommend then to anyone.

Air Comfort provided services on two consecutive days. The first day was a pre-paid service call for $84 which I booked through Angie's List as a special discount for cleaning and inspection. After the service man came, he ascertained that a more thorough cleaning was necessary and that it would cost $118 more dollars. I gave the O.K. on it. He did a thorough job with the cleaning, but charged $174 for the extra time involved in addition to the $84 I paid originally. He also took the part number of a roll out switch that was functioning erratically. That night the boiler stopped working. The next morning I placed an urgent call to Air Comfort to replace the roll out switch. They did sent a serviceman out with the switch replacement. I was very pleased with this service call. This technician noticed that part of the furnace had not been cleaned. He replaced the roll out switch which was $107 with labor, and then proceeded to thoroughly check over the furnace and finish the cleaning that had been started the previous day, and he did so without charge. He didn't have to be so thorough, but it won me back over to the company. I had made an evaluation in Angie's List for the first visit, and I had given them only an average rating. Now I see their work as above average. I would use them again.

Two different servicemen came today, and they were both wonderful. They diagnosed the issue, got the needed replacement part, and fixed my heater all in the same day!

The technician worked professionally and well. The job was completed satisfactorily. The initial call was a pre-paid discount for an annual inspection and cleaning through Angie's list. The cleaning called for the boiler to be disassembled, the price for that additional job was $174 which I thought was expensive. I was a bit confused when the technician explained that I should be paying $104, but Air Comfort would let it go this time. Next time, I should book directly with them and not Angie's List. It seems that there is some misunderstanding between Air Comfort and the price that Angie's list is offering. I may call around the next time I have a need, and try to get a more accurate estimate beforehand.

The Monday before Thanksgiving, my furnace stopped working. I thought it was the thermostat, so I called AT&T who had a sub-contractor install the thermostat in May. AT&T came to my home Tuesday evening and discovered it was not the thermostat, but replaced it anyway. I called Future Aire because they "cleaned and checked" my furnace on November 4 and had installed a humidifier on November 21. The technician came to my house, examined the furnace and determined it was the "pressure switch." I contacted Air Comfort Service, Inc. Wednesday morning and spoke with Samantha. She could not have been more understanding or helpful. She listened to my problems with patience and offered several solutions. Mark, the service technician, was at my house by 11:00 a.m. He examined the furnace, determined that it was the control board and replaced it. After he was finished, he asked about the air conditioning unit I had installed in April (by another company) and asked if I had changed the filter. The handler is in the attic and he offered to check the filter before leaving. He got into the attic, which is no small feat, and removed the filter which was very dirty. He didn't have to do this. But because of Air Comfort, I had heat for Thanksgiving. Great company!

I used them in the past to put in a new air conditioning for me and I thought they would be honest. They tried to sell me on board on my heating system for $370 and said that I would get a 20% off if I sign up for a year. I got someone to come and have a look at it and they fixed it and did not charge me a penny. They tried to upsell something I did not need. The person just plugged out a switch. He told me that my board was bad and that I should join their yearly program. I called them to cancel the order of the new board and I told them not to come back.

Air Comfort responded and was able to fit me in on the same day. Very professional from the first call to the technician leaving. Andrew the technician was very informative, and answered every question I had. Thanks to all who made the experience pain, and worry free.

They told me to call Angie's List for a refund. They came out right away and got the new furnace installed the same day. We were grateful, because the temperature was 18 degrees.

Had to wait about 11 days for appointment date. About a week into that time period furnace broke and would not start. Called company to request quicker response. The situation changed from a service check-up to a repair for which they requested immediate payment for a larger amount. I would appreciate a refund from Angie's List.

They were able to come a few days early due to scheduling changes on their part, Bob was prompt. He even had booties to cover his feet while in the house, a huge plus for me!! He completed the work timely and gave me information for an annual service plan for the heater/ac units. Very nice, would definitely use again!!

It was a very pleasant and fast experience. They called me 30 minutes before my appointment to confirm the time still worked. They showed up on time, and were incredibly nice and professional. I showed them to the furnace, where they began to take it apart and clean each element. After they were done taking it apart, they gave me an update on all of the parts, (eg this looks good, this may need to be replaced soon, etc.) After making sure everything worked, they put it all back together, and wrapped up the appointment. Great service and great price! Will use again!

Air Comfort calls you about 30 minutes prior to technician's arrival. This went just as described. Technician Andy was superb. He was very thorough and efficient. He replaced filters in the humidifier, which, understandably, was an additional cost. He also answered questions I had about our system, and didn't seem hurried.

They performed early Saturday service call arranged the night before with their emergency staff. They determined that all freon was missing in Lennox heatpump. I talked to their senior technician at 8:30 Monday morning. He recommended an economical model that later was determined to be out of stock. He then recommended a slightly less efficient model. Installation was scheduled 3-hours later on Monday. Two-man installation team did an excellent job of installing outside unit with excellent attention to details on connecting all hoses and wiring. They also did an excellent job of modifying sheet metal to install new heat-exchange coil in existing furnace cabinet. They replaced existing clear, plastic drain tube with professional looking and better performing PVC pipe. All work was completed in about 3.5 hours. Top-quality work was performed very quickly at all times.

hem to come back for Setting up appointment was easy through the office. Was scheduled for 4 hour window. They called about a half hour before arriving to let me know-that was nice. Mark came and was friendly. I ended up signing up for a Spring check up for my air conditioner.

Went great. On time, great communication from company, great follow-thru. I purchased Heating maintenance and house humidifier to be completed and installed next week. Heating maintenance cost additional $120 as towards annual contract. and Honeywell house humidifier expected to be $736.

It ended up being ok, but when i purchased the special, it said i could purchase 2 if i had 2 air conditioners and it wouldnt allow me to do this. By the time that was sorted out, they called me and said you cant do this, but they did sell me an air conditioner and furnace maint package for the two systems I had at a rental property. The person who answered the phone was new and really had no idea what i was talking about, but they ended up getting back to me. Overall I would say the service was good and they were able to get out there pretty quiclkly.

when we returned from a vacation the house was 86 degrees. Called Air Service and they sent someone that afternoon. i had David as the service tech. he was incredibly professional and friendly. He quickly determined that the capacitors by the compressor had blown (one actually popped the top off). It was not long and we started cooling down. I was so impressed with the people at this company from the very first phone conversation to the final work being done. I plan to sign up for a maintenance plan where they check and clean the equipment each season. It stinks to have a problem like this when returning from vacation. David made it seem not so bad.
