The bi-yearly AC/furnace check service is well worth the cost, if for nothing el;se than the reminder to check these household necessities in a timely manner. The technician is always polite, professional & explains clearly anything that may need attention.

I was quite impressed with the speed and efficiency of the job. Was completed by two well experienced men. These men know exactly what they are doing, and completed the whole job in about 7 hours. I would highly recommend this company.

It was fine. Everything went great. They found a few things with the furnace but this is not our house. We're just renting it for a few more weeks. So we didn't do anything with it. They recommended a couple of things. He wasn't pushy at all. But since this is not our home we're not going to invest anything into it. The service itself was great. He was very informative. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. We were just trying to get through the winter. It needed a new compressor or something. He recommended one. Again, he did not push it. He said, "I totally understand since you're renting." He was very informative of what was going on with the furnace and everything. He did give us options. He was very personable. He was here right on time.

The technician did a good job, everything is running fine, and uncovered a problem with the humidifier from the original install. The installer did not properly hook up the humidifier, so I was able to go back to the original installer and have them install it correctly at no charge.

I ended up purchasing a brand new HVAC unit from them. The salesman that came out was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy to get a sale. I felt I got a pretty good deal and also a nice rebate from Ameren. Will definitely use Air Comfort for future maintenance again. Highly recommended.

I tried Air Comfort because of an Angie's List Big Deal. I now have a service contract with Air Comfort. Their technician, John, is extremely trustworthy. He has been to my house several times to inspect and clean our furnace and AC. He is always upfront with me about what I need, and how much longer he thinks my old unit will last. He has never tried to repair something needlessly or prematurely. He is always very polite and considerate. He has never steered me wrong.

Tested all parts of Heat and A/C to insure working order and diagnose potential issues. Checked blower motor. Replaced ignition switch for Heating unit and installed new connection to water line for the Humidifier (old one was clogged). Cleaned A/C unit. Technician was both knowledgeable and helpful. Will use this provider every year from now on and would recommend them to others.

They did a good job with the furnace check and got it working properly. they were on time. On the humidifier, the tech who came out told me what was wrong with the humidifier. He priced it out with the company over the phone and told me I should just replace it given the cost of the parts and repairs. They couldn't install it that day. Another tech came another day to install the new one. He said I did not need a new one and only needed one part to fix the issue. He replaced the part and it was working just fine. I was annoyed that I almost spent $600 to get a new one based on what the original tech said, when all I had to spend was less than $100 to get it working fine.

Everything went well. Would use them again.

The installation went very well but one of the workers left a big grease spill on my basement floor which is still there. Just have to be careful where I put any laundry to be washed. Other than that small thing everything went perfect. They were very nice and worked diligently to get done in one day.

The job that they did was fine; it was not great but acceptable. I have been doing a lot of things on the house and am trying to get the house ready for sale. They did adequate work and he was a nice guy, nothing special. I thought the price was a little high.

I still use them for my spring and fall inspections and I have recommended them to other people. They have been great. They will always be the people that I will use and recommend. They are honest, dependable-price wise.

Everything turned out well. The price was reasonable, they did a good job without leaving any mess, and the technicians as well as the sales people were very professional. They did install the wrong unit by mistake since it was virtually identical to the correct one, but they quickly recognized the error and rectified it expeditiously.

Lost heating. Verified it was not the thermostat or batteries are settings. Called for Service around 3:00 pm. Pleasant receptionist took call, Obtained problem information, and had a Service Technician at my house before 3:30 pm John Pollick (Service Tech) went to the unit and had the problem diagnost (Bad upper limit Sensor Assembly) and the part installed in less than 15 minutes. He then went over the likely cause of the failure (Clogged Filter) and gave my a replacement frequency for the filter to prevent the problem from recurring. He proceeded to clean the Flame Sensor and verified the the unit performed as it should before leaving. John was very courteous and answered all my question in a way that made understanding simple. My heat was back on and working great less than an hour after I called for service I am a very happy customer!!

I guess it was okay. The service was fine as far as I can tell. They were going to install a hose, which they did, but they didn't share the pricing. The tech that came out didn't know how to test the new thermostat we needed. We have a humidifier, and he mentioned that they would put a new hose on. When he said that, he didn't say anything about price, so when the senior guy came out looking for some type of payment. We worked it out, but it was not as transparent as it should have been.

The service was fine. I ended up going with another company, because they couldn't fix the issue. They charged me for some part that they tried to put on. The responsiveness was fine.

Mark, the technician from Air Comfort Service, was right on time (early, actually!) and amazing! He was professional, efficient and personable. His company's reputation is well-deserved. He performed the services thoroughly and in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and willing to teach me about my furnace (I just bought the home). My experience could not have been better and I will be using Air Comfort Service for all my future needs with both heating and cooling. Went well. I didn't end up having them repair the furnace but they seem like a fine company and did everything said they would do.

Air Comfort looked at the issues I was having with my boiler, and assessed everything. They could have simply inserted a new liner and waited for it to fail, but they went on the roof and found significant problems with my chimney. They told me what I needed to do to fix the chimney and vent the boiler properly. It would be a waste of money to proceed with a new flue without addressing the root of the problem. In the end, I ended up spending more money--I had to rebuild my chimney--but I feel a lot more confident that I invested in a 20-to-30 year fix instead of simply putting a bandaid on my problems. When Air Comfort was finishing up, the technician pointed out that I had a mercury thermostat that could possibly create inefficiencies and wide variances in temperatures. It was a real low-pressure, consultative sale. I went ahead and got the new thermostat. Too early to tell and this has been a mild winter, but so far my heating bills have been consistently less than they have been historically. The temperature in my house is definitely more consistent. It seems that I finally found a service provider that is adept at dealing with boilers.
