Had them out for an annual inspection/maintenance on a fairly new system. The technician seemed good. Only a couple of snags. 1) it was hard to reach someone in the office to schedule the service, 2) I had to buy two promotions in order to get both units of my zoned heating inspected. I was not aware of this until the technician was at my home.

Great! I had original appt. between 12pm-5pm , however they had an opening within 30 mins. so they called and I was able to have the work done earlier! The Tech was Bob and he was very pleasant. He was thorough and advised that while my furnace isn't energy efficient, it's still working well and the heat exchanger looked good. He suggested I sign up for the service contract(which I will do). I have always been pleased with the people from Air Comfort and will continue to use them. When the time comes to replace the furnace they will be on my list call. I've used them to replace my air conditioning system in the past. Thank you for being a terrific company!

The person who came out to fix our AC was extremely friendly and efficient. We will definitely use this company again if needed.

We have used a number of air conditioning contractors, but Air Comfort was the best. They were helpful in ensuring that we used their special and the work went quickly and well. It made a tremendous difference in how the unit worked. We have need for a tune up for our heating system and we will use Air Comfort again.

He told me they don't clean filters, everyone else I've ever used does and I didn't ;like the way he told me this is the last time they will do it.. They put in a air conditioner for me without a label on it, I asked them to put one on for me and he just laid it on and the next day I found it laying on the ground.

As expected,but found a potential future problem

John, the HVAC technician, was very knowledgeable and walked me through everything. I recently purchased my 10 y/o home and was looking to find a provider for continued use. Air Comfort Services, Inc met my expectations and I will be using them again in the future to ensure things keep running smoothly.

Everything went great. On time and very professional. I am using them again for our furnace maintenance in the fall.

I used this for my rental house. My renters told me the technician was VERY rude and unprofessional. They were very displeased with him. I bought the Angie list coupon for the cleaning, etc. Once he was out there, he found another problem...needed a condesor replaced...since he found that, he charged extra to fix that (that is understandable), but i addition to the cost to fix it, they charged about an extra $90 for a service call...even though he was already there! I didn't get that part of it....but it was non-negotiable. Again, even though he was already there, for the cleaning (which is what I bought the Angie list coupon for)...he charged for a service call. The renters were not happen with him at all (and they weren't paying the bill, I was...so they had no reason to say they weren't happy...unless the technician was rude and unprofessional)

the service person was friendly and knowledgeable. He got right to work and showed me how to change the air filter myself and ordered a new one since mine was pretty filthy. It arrived the next day, delivered by a cheerful young man, and all was well.

They were very quick to schedule the service and kept in communication with me. The guy that came out was very knowledgeable and respectful and was able to get everything done in about 30 minutes. All went well and we will likely reuse this company for our future needs.

The installation and "re-charging" a few days prior were both excellent service. When the "coolant" charge did not solve the problem and it was apparent I did need a new a/c unit, they deducted the cost of the charge. Very impressive. There are two reasons why I did not give this company an all "A" rating. Both are Communication related, but there isn't a Communication category where I could give them a "D". Reason One: When I first used them the previous autumn to repair a furnace part, I purchased the service agreement that would cover both heating and a/c. When my a/c wasn't operating properly, I called to verify that my agreement DID cover a/c which would include a pre-season service call. It was already mid-June and I had not been contacted about this. I asked if it was up to me to call, and was told no, that they would be starting their pre-a/c-season calls the following week. A/C season in St. Louis starts LONG before the middle of June. Reason Two: When I was told the new a/c unt would cost about $5000, I was shocked at the cost. When the new unit was being installed, I asked why the heater unit had to be moved out of the way to install the a/c. Turns out it was a combo unit -- both heater and a/c. Ah! That explains the high cost. I didn't realize it would be a combo unit. It didn't change anything, but it would have been nice to know initially. I will continue to use Air Comfort, but I will mark my calendar to CALL THEM in October for a pre-winter-service check, not wait for them to call me in December.

I have used this company for about 6 years. The same technician usually comes each time - always professional and within the window promised. I feel confident that the work is done accurately and completely. I trust the technician and company to do a great job. The only issue I have is the two or four hour window that the technician will come. A scheduled time would be better - but do the nature of the work, it must be difficult to stay on schedule.

Things went well. The house cools off much better than it did before.

Technician arrived in accordance with the estimated time window. Completed the clean and check within the hour. Freon level was low. This was an extra charge. Very satisfied with the results. System has been working just fine. As a matter of fact it is more efficient. I would use this company again.

Service man was prompt and professional, and very helpful about the system (new home) and how to take care of air filter. Did an excellent job, despite having to stand out in a downpour to examine the air conditioner. Plan on using them for all our furnace and air conditioner work.

Excellent service. Technician was on time, professional and thorough in his cleaning and inspection of the air conditioner. Was working for close to 1 1/2 hours.

Great except I will never use the Angies list coupon. They charge same amount as coupon, so silly to pre-buy coupon.

They did a thorough job cleaning up the system.

Steve Ryan was excellent - always very responsive to calls and emails regarding questions, requests, changes, etc. The installation was done punctually, quickly and completely within time estimate and cost.- all this despite a very rainy day for outside work. Very neat .. no mud or mess in the house or basement. They had extra work to do because the new unit was larger, and they made the necessary adjustments very successfully. Had Bell-O, but Air Comfort wins, hands down.

Came on time. Explained everything and made recommendations for more efficient service. John was great.

Went well Did not like allocating half a day to wait for them. Should be able to book 2-hr blocks. Next time I will look for a company that provides a shorter blocks. This is the reasin for low ranking on punctuality.

lExcellent, responsive service. My AC went out Friday and they came Saturday. Got right to the problem, friendly and didn't try to push other irrelevant services. Also, really great with dogs. My wagging, overly excitied girl loved him, which is always a plus. Will definitely hire them again.

Price and duration of service as expected. The installer manual wasn't filled in with serial number, and since the serial number on the device is, having been installed, not accessible, I have no easy way to register the UV light for warranty.
