Description of Work: The air conditioner technician came and inspected my air conditioner from the inside out. He performed a leak test on the inside of my home to make sure there were no leaks. The technician also unclogged the drainage hose from the furnace within the home and he also inspected the unit outside by cleaning out all leaves, sprayed down the unit with a hose to get all dirt and debris out. As well as checking the freon level, checked the motor the fan and the pressure. The technician was friendly, curtious, and demonstrated a sense of professionalism. I would use Air Comfort Services, Inc. again.

Description of Work: Dryer was not heating. Called company in the morning.Got a call back within 10 minutes. Randy came out late morning and replaced what needed to be replaced. He was very nice and did a great job.

Description of Work: The Technician came out & checked my a/c unit & furnace. He cleaned out the drain tube on furnace. He showed me my a/c was working properly, by dropping temperature around 20 degrees from outside/inside.

Description of Work: Our A/C went out over a weekend - the blower motor gave up and died. I called Air Comfort on Sunday, and left a message asking that they call on Monday morning to schedule an appointment. Monday morning comes, and at 7:05 am they call to say a service tech could be at the house in an hour. He was. We discussed whether to replace the blower motor, or the entire heater, coil and water heater all at once. I went for replacement as everything was original from when our house was built 27 years ago. My concern was timing - given the long heat spell in St. Louis, I expected to wait as long as a week. Air Comfort had a crew of three at the house a few minutes after Noon, and the installation of the new heater, coil, and water heater was done by 5:30 on the same day! Description of Work: I purchased a special deal through angies list to have the AC looked at and serviced. The technician was on time and did the work, I was busy with other vendors so did not oversee his work. After performing his inspection he informed me the coolant level was a little low and said if I signed up for a maintenance plan they had it would be slightly less expensive than paying for the charging of coolant by itself. My coupon was discounted from the price of the service plan and includes a service call when winter comes around and the heater needs to be working. The type of work they do is hard to know if they're doing what they say is being done, how can I know if I was really low on coolant, etc. But given their high Angies list reviews I went with their service and feel they delivered as expected.

Description of Work: John (Serv.Tech.) was very prompt...arrived 15 min. early. Explained every step of service he performed with Air Conditioner Tune-up. Felt very comfortable with the service John performed w/checking both inside and outside w/A.C.. Services performed: Install gauges to check operation. Checked for proper refrigeration charge. Checked Filter, capacitor, Contactor, Voltages, pressure & Amp draws. Checked and cleaned condensate drain..Checked belts for proper condition. Tighten electrical connections. Lubricate all moving parts. Checked pressure-switch cutout setting, electrical lockout circuits, and starting contacts.

Description of Work: Totally impressed with this company. Steve Ryan got me my bid on Friday, and they had the work complete by the end of the day Monday. I had my A/C, furnace, and water heater replaced. everyone was professional and curteous. I would highly recommend this company for anyone that is looking to do any HVAC work.

Description of Work: A/C stopped cooling on a Sunday (of course!) I had called several other companies, several of which advertised weekend service at no extra charge. They then told me that it would be "overtime" for the next few days. Air Comfort Service, while there was a small premium for weekend service, was honest and upfront, not to mention the service was quick. The technician replaced a capacitor and had us up and running quickly.

Description of Work: We called for a "check-up" and cleaning of our A/C, which the man did. Our A/C seemed to be cooling more proficiently the same day he was here. I would have given higher grades if he had just been informative about what he discovered during the checkup and what he did to "clean" the AC. It was too hot to go out and watch over his shoulder. I'm a little too shy to pin him against the wall and question him.

Description of Work: Came out on a Sunday to repair a heat pump that they had installed over a year ago. They determined that the problem was created during the original installation. They ordered replacement parts and rewired as necessary to get me going. Refunded my payment for the service call. Great service.
