Description of Work: Since they were bought out by Waste Management of Missouri (I believe that is their new name), their service became erratic and unreliable as well as too expensive. I have one small kitchen-sized bag of trash a week so I think their price is outrageous. Plus, the wait time to talk to a representative when there is a problem is excessive.

Description of Work: Weekly trash pickup. They provide both trash and recycling bins both with wheels and plenty of space. They pick up on holidays and are pretty consistent on pickup time. No issues so far after about 3 months. Less than half the price of my previous company.

Description of Work: Town and Country was our service provider for approx. 3 years. Although the customer service when I called with a question or request was less than stellar, the price was right and the associates picking up our trash were always friendly and helpful. Then my card number was stolen during the holiday season. I was billed and paid automatically, so I set up the new card in their system and didn't think anything else about it. When trash wasn't picked up one day, I called, and they said it was for non-payment. (NEVER have I been late or missed a payment.) I had a confirmation email from setting up my new card, and asked if I could email that as proof. I was told no, it wouldn't make a difference, because their systems wouldn't be updated until tomorrow. After trying to get some resolution, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor, and was told there were none. I repeatedly stated I understood this rep was trying to do her job, and I wasn't upset, just wanted this resolved. I was told "There is no one else to speak to, that's why they hired me." So when I asked for the owners name, she gave it to me, but said, "He doesn't return calls for customer complaints." Eventually, she hung up on me. Needless to say, I called Deffenbaugh immediately, and got trash service set up through them. When I called Town and Country later that SAME day, and cancelled, I was told I had a CREDIT on my account, and a check would be mailed. Huh, a credit the same day I was apparently not getting service for non-payment. The agent asked if I was moving, I simply said no, and no further questions were asked regarding my terminating their services. I would suggest avoiding use of Town and Country if at all possible.
