PROFESSIONAL PAINTERS

The bid was reasonable for the complexity of our project. The painters prepped thoroughly with pressure wash and patching where needed (cedar). Painted the following day. They also repaired a soffi where it had started to decay. The paint job was nearly perfect and they immediately recoated the only small flaw. They sprayed a vinyl window frame to match our other frames, again accurately. Color match was careful and right on target. Insect repellent was added to the paint on our request. Our house has never looked better. We were so pleased we asked them to paint our decks and a large exterior fence at another property. They were prompt, efficient, and left zero mess for us to clean up. Ted, the owner, and his son were personable, and a pleasure to work with. They did the work themselves. Couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommended.

Ted Puetz came highly recommended from some friends and did not disappoint. His bid was significantly lower than other exterior painters, but several of my bidders were hand painting instead of using a sprayer. I found that Ted's spray quality looks great. He moved deck furniture, scraped some old wood and fascia,and was able to schedule me quickly. He worked with me to find a solution that worked for my needs instead of trying to sell me for 10 years of durability that I would never see. Interior work was just as good. I had a heavy water stain that had soaked into the ceiling and it took several coats to cover, but Ted kept at it and it is barely noticeable now. He works fast, too. Overall, I am very pleased with how it turned out. Don't listen to the other reviewers: this guy is a pro and will get it done for you.

I asked him to take out the drappery hangers so they wouldn't get paint on them and I noticed he didn't do a couple. He asked if he could paint over the electical outlets, I said yes but I though he meant he would remove them from the walls first. This actually caused some electical damage making some of my outlets not work. Before he left on the 3rd, we walked through and I noticed he didn't do any caulking. I pointed out the areas I noticed and he fixed them but after he left I continued to find areas that were not finished. One of my walls he filled in and sanded but I can still see the texturizing from my old wallpaper that I had removed. I can also see a fingerprint mark.

The quote was delivered on time but the communication stopped after the delivery date was finalized. Multiple calls were required to secure the start date. The workers had limited supervision. I recommend you use only if your schedule is flexible and you have time to be at home to make sure they use a drop cloth for wooden floors. Additionally, request an inspection by a supervisor/owner before they leave. The foyer was not completed when they packed up to leave. After they left we ended up noticing one wall in the living room was not done. We gave up and did it our selves! Be flexible if using these painters.

Job went smoothly and was completed in one day. Painter was able to find the exact same paint used in original construction of house [ in 2000 ]; thus, touch-up painting produced excellent match with rest of interior painting.

Ted returned my call within 24 hours and made an appointment for an estimate within the week. I chose my colors, contacted the company and the painters were at the house within a week ready to paint. The entire job was completed in two days. The window blinds were carefully arranged on the floor so they were not damaged, and are now ready to rehang. I am extremely pleased with their workmanship and their professionalism. I plan to use them again to re-stain my deck.
