Mr. Turner was a professional at every turn. Everything went fine, and the work was impeccable. They are not cheapest in town (nor the most expensive), but when they are done, you will definitely know where that extra money went. I would use them again, defintiely.

Some over spray left on cabinets and trim. A rather large hOle was left not fixed above bedroom window, in the sheet rock. I was surprised the doors were not paainted.

I contacted Ken and he was very responsive and punctual in discussing my needs. Worked started shortly after. His crew arrived on time along with Ken and all were so courteous and a pleasure to be around. Work ethic was never in question and they worked diligently throughout the day. They eagerly addressed a lot of previous painting issues which was really appreciated and I know Ken knew I really wanted it fixed. Jane (a pleasure) came out the second day and completed the job. Could I have asked for a better experience? Nope I couldn't. I will recommend them to anyone in need. Guys I love the colors and thanks so much for the Service. LOL Ken no more Cheetos colored living room!!

Ken responded to my Angie's List message for a quote immediately. He was friendly, prompt, and answered all of my questions. His crew was led by a delightful woman (Jane) who I thoroughly enjoyed working with! The crew showed up on time at 7 a.m. every morning. I worked from home for the days they were here and I had no issues with them being loud or cranking up a radio, which was a huge relief. Jane walked me through their progress every day and would double check with me if she had any questions. They finished half a day early and left my home in perfect condition. They even asked me if I wanted them to replace a light bulb that was on the cathedral ceiling while they had their scaffolding out! Talk about service! I've already had Ken give me two more quotes on other projects. I will not even be checking with another painter on these projects. Ken will always have my business!

The crew was efficient and meticulous, being careful of every detail and did a beautiful job. Cleaned up afterward every day. My house looks brand new. I couldn't be more pleased.

It looks great. The price was very reasonable. They were real good and clean. They were real good.

The amount of the big deal didn't cover much at all. He came out to give me an estimate. The quote on my deck was well over $1000. So, I just had him power wash the deck. I don't know if I could have got a little more out of the $200. At that point it was like, "I've got to find somebody else or do it myself." So, we ended up doing it ourselves. I thought it might be $500 or $600. It was fine. It wasn't outstanding.

I've been having a hard time communicating and getting things scheduled. I decided to not go with this deal.

It went terrible. I called them and said, I will be in town for two or three days, can you come and take care of it. She said, I will have them look at it. The first time was good. He came and looked at it. He said, that's fine. The next day they come and scrapped it. After that they put some mud and they left it like that. They tried to ask for more. I just wanted to finish the job actually but then he disappeared. He mentioned about charging me more. I said, we can talk about it. I thought that was unethical but I just don't have time to deal with these kind of things. For $300, I would have paid it in the first place. My house is in worse shape than it was before. It became much bigger than I could handle myself. He should t least call me and explain. I would have understood.

They were very professional, on time, and courteous. And they did a great job cleaning up after themselves when they were done.

This is 3rd time I have written this review. Liked the work provided, the guy who did the work did great job.

Ken Turner, the owner of the company, came out to walk through and bid the job, which took about a half an hour. By the time he left I had a written estimate in hand. About a week later, after obtaining 2 other bids, I notified Ken that we would be using Turner Painting for the job. He came by to collect some up front money and we scheduled the job for 2 weeks out. He left me a color wheel in order to choose colors. The main selling point for us was his crew of 4 very experienced painters. These ain't college kids - they show up bright and early and work very well as a team. It's all business from 8 am - 3:30 as they used their combined 100+ years of painting experience to attack the job with a methodical precision. Within 3 days everything was done, which was ahead of their estimated 5 day schedule. These guys are pros and you may pay a bit more for the team, but they do it right and get in and get out so you can resume your normal life. I ended up getting two painters for half-a-day. The service was done timely. I would say that they came out within a month after I purchased the Big Deal. There were no additional charges to the $199 Big Deal because I purchased my own paint. They offered to supply their own tools. My ceiling looked good after they were done. The service was fine.

It worked out very well. The coupon got them out here and we were going to do one room. Mr. Turner was very informative. I felt comfortable having him in my home. The work turned out to be exceptionally well. They had to come back and do some texturing on one of the ceilings. They textured it and left. The painters were still here. I told Mr. Turner that I didn't care for that and he didn't care for it either, so he called the gentleman back to redo it. Other than that, it was the only issue. The interaction went very well. I will recommend them again.

We called Ken for a bid and he was able to come out within 24 hours. He explained everything and gave us a very reasonable bid. He even found time to squeeze us in between jobs. He and his staff were kind, professional and had high standards for their work. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing painting work done. They are fantastic!

Ken did a Excellent job fixing the ceiling damage in a upstairs bathroom. The stairwell I attempted to do on my own, they changed to flat paint which made it look much better! Our ugly fireplace was painted to look Brand New! Our front door now looks Wonderful from the street (Horrible prior color from previous owner). His crew is AWESOME! I have 4 rooms to go. Family Crisis came up on Friday the last day. Felt bad I was on edge and ended the day abruptly.

Nathan was prompt, personable and professional. Because of his experience with historic preservation, our repair was straightforward for him, which was a relief. He worked solidly for two hours one day, told me he would return to work for about an hour the next day, and was here to complete the job right on time. The work area was protected and the rest of the room remained clean.The work was well done. I was very pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone with ceiling/plaster issues in an older Kansas City house. Thank you for a job well done.

Ken returned my call the first day I left a message and we set up a walk through for the following day. He was on time for our meeting and gave me a quote within 15 minutes. I called back to set up a time to schedule painting. Ken was able to work around my unusual schedule including the tenant moving out earlier than expected. Ken's team was short handed due to my scheduling situation but they still got the entire unit painted in under four days. One bathroom they had to do a double coat on, seems the tenant changed the color without permission but I was not charged for the extra work. They left the property in great condition. I would be glad to work with Ken again on future properties as they become available.

Professionally done with thorough cleanup, good enough for another contractor to ask for his contact info.

Ken was very professional. He was available for a bid on the day we called. He was prompt and gave us a very fair estimate. He had a crew available the next day. Ken and the crew showed up on time everyday, were clean, courteous, professional and did a great job. Through trial and error, they worked very hard to match our existing color as close as possible and made sure we were happy with everything. They did a great job in freshening up our office. I would definitely use this company in the future.

Ken was able to start the job shortly after the OK and his crew of two completed the painting the next day. Price might have been a bit high, but I wanted the work done ASAP. Good quality work was done on both the plastering and painting, and cleanup was thorough.

That service was great! That was really good and they removed wallpaper in my dining room. Two employees came out and the walls look really nice. I then had them back out to paint the wall too since they did a really good job.

It took a little bit to actually make contact with Ken by phone and email and it's understandable as his work and professionalism are amazing. We set an appointment for estimate and he arrived at on time. He separated our bid into part for repair and part for painting which helped us understand where the money was being applied. He and his crew began the work on Tuesday and the entire project was completed by Friday morning. Outstanding! Best of all, we didn't even know they were there working. There was no running back and forth to the house, just straight, consistent work on the job until it was done. Very low key, unpretentious, and efficiently done. Ken is the best!
