Description of Work: Contacted Turner Painting because his ad stated that he did carpentry work. He informed me that he subbed carpentry to Damon Bond in Raymore. Contacted Mr. Bond, who came to the site to look at the various work I had pending. He made an appointment, arrived on time, and installed new outer door, including all hardware. Mr. Bond was very skilled and meticulous, took pains to ensure that door closed properly. I am planning to engage him again as soon as our prep work is completed.

Description of Work: He had numerous items performed: |1. painting |2. rotted outdoor trim repaired and replaced |3. drywall patching and finishing | |Ken's crew showed up on time. Clean cut, courteous, and worked steady. Along with Ken, they had very good attention to detail while performing a quality job. It was clear from their comments that they each were experienced in their respective work areas.

Description of Work: Ken, and crew, painted the exterior of our home, and did a fine job. He had done the job the last time (9 years ago), and while I had put off the job a year too long, it speaks to the quality of materials and workmanship he puts into his work. Ken and crew were timely, professional, thorough, and responsive to questions, or slight changes in plan. Once started, the work was performed as promised, on time, and on budget; and it looks great. The crew did an excellent job of keeping the paint off of shrubbery, and clean up was excellent. They won't be the cheapest bid, nor the most expensive, but they go great work. I'll definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I contacted Turner Paining on 5/16 and scheduled an appointment for 5/19/14. Ken came out and wrote up a thorough bid. He told me to call him back if I would like to hire him. I had a couple other companies setup to come out and give me bids after him which delayed my decision. Ken had given me a list of 20 references and I also called 10 people on the list to get their opinion and ask how much they were asked to put down as a deposit to start the job. My concern was that he was asking me to pay a 45% deposit up front but I had all the materials already purchased. His references told me they only had to pay $350 deposit at most to cover the paint he would be purchasing, which I had already purchased all the paint and primer for my job. I called Ken back on 6/3 and told him I had contacted half his list of 20 references and that they had told me what they paid for their deposit and asked him if I too could pay substantially less of a deposit since I had already purchased all the materials. He said he would look over the bid he had written and call me the next day which never happened. I am disappointed that I was asked to put up 45% deposit when others were not.

Description of Work: They patched 2 holes in my drywall, left over from when an old intercom system was removed. They did a great job. Friendly, professional, cleaned up after, and the final product look great.

Description of Work: Requested Big deal for $199 for a painter for a day. I called provider the next day and he thought he could accommidate the request for painting with in the next two weeks. He stated he would call me back the next day. It was the next week before he called back and told me that he could not do the painting before I needed it done.

Description of Work: The team painted the whole interior of our new residence including the garage. They made some repairs and also corrected work done by prior painter. They even returned and touched up after company that replaced carpet with hardwood floors. The work was excellent, and we are having them return in the spring to paint the exterior.

Description of Work: Removed wall paper, fixed popped wall tape along ceiling, re-textured parts of the ceiling in great room. Painted kitchen and great room.
