I was satisfied with work done.

Ken made an initial visit to find out what needed to be done so he could estimate the time and materials. Then he arranged a convenient time to return (within a few days) to do the work. No sub-contractors, no bait and switch. Just good, quality, honest work by a really nice guy.

Ted came by on Wednesday and gave me a bid of $900 to repair and paint the walls. I could not afford that so I asked him to bid it for repairing the walls so they were ready for paint and I would paint myself, so he said it would be $450. I said that was fine when did he think he could start and he said the next day. Ted came the next day with another person, the one who would be doing the work, and before Ted was leaving I asked him if he thought he could give me a discount on the painting because I'd like to have it done professionally and quickly since I had just bought this house and that was the first room to get remodeled. He asked how much and I told him $350 instead of $450. He said "let me run the numbers and I'll let you know." So that afternoon he called me and said that he could do it for $350 but I would have to pay cash instead of credit card because it cost him more money to take credit card so I told him that I couldn't do it then because I couldn't pay cash. He said ok and hung up. About 5 minutes later he called me back and said that he wasn't going to haggle over a few dollars and that he would let me pay c.card so we agreed to have it painted the next day. I just glanced at the walls that evening to see how they looked and they looked good compared to the way they looked that morning. When I went to bed and laid there and thought about how much I had already spent on the walls I couldn't justify another $350 just to paint so I called Ted first thing next am feeling horrible about canceling at the last minute and told him that I couldn't afford for him to paint also, he was polite about it and came over and got his stuff and I wrote him a check instead of paying credit card so he wouldn't lose more $. Then when I got in and started working on getting the walls ready for paint I was just sick! The worker just left the remaining wallpaper on the wall that I couldn't get off and skimmed drywall over the top of it...the problem being that the paint on top of the wallpaper had texture in it so it showed through the drywall, there was no sanding, skimming, etc. behind the door or on the wall between the floor and the toilet tank! One of the reasons I chose this company is because they advertise for wallpaper removal and drywall and painting...I just guess you don't get it all for one Very High Price!! The reason I didn't call them back in regards to my complaint is because if I can't get good work done when I'm paying full price I know I'm not going to get any better work done when I'm not paying them at all. Very disappointed that I didn't look further into why they had a B rating instead of an A, new to this Angie's list but am getting wise quickly.

Ken came out to my house within a day of my phone call. The work was completed within the next few days. He was able to repair the main issues I had but also included repair of some smaller cracks in other areas of my home. All within the price of the Angie's List deal I purchased. I had him paint the ceilings - which are all connected in my ranch home - which explains the $1000 price tag. The drywall repair itself was just a fraction of this!

They did an amazing job!! I couldn't have been happier. Not a single complaint and I plan on using them again when we do additional painting.

Did all repairs(numerous wall and ceiling cracks) within estimated time. Created remarkably little dust and was very careful to cleanup.

Overall it worked out great.

Kevin was prompt and did the work her earlier described on the date arranged. His work was great and the damaged wall looks great. Very professional. Would use again.

I hadn't been able to find anyone who would remove wallpaper until I saw this company on Angie's List. They did a great job getting all of the wallpaper off the wall. Their years of experience really show in the work they do.

We had identified several spots that needed work, but worker found more and fixed them also. He worked quickly and efficiently. We plan to ask them back to paint over the plaster repairs now.

The repair process went very well. I found Turner Painting through an advertised Groupon. Ken was able to repair the wall within the cost of the Groupon. He was responsive, and gave me an estimate immediately and finished the job promptly.

This company knows what it is doing and works very hard. Their regular price is $75 an hour. They are worth it. I could do it myself for less but I couldn't do a better job. They are as good as anyone and better than most.

Ken, did a great job. He was prompt, knowledgable, quick to respond. I would recomend him in a heartbeat.

Ken Turner was very professional and responsive (unlike other painting companies I called). In fact, he came over on the same day that I called him to quote the job. He has a good group of painters that work for him and he runs his company like a true business. His painters showed up early each day around 7:30 AM and painted throughout the day. Ken stopped by each morning to make sure things were running smoothly as well as in the afternoons to see the progress (and to make sure I was happy with the job). Originally, I was only going to have the first floor painted, but working with Ken (and his painters) was a good experience so I hired them to continue painting the second floor. Ken was very easy to work with. I would hire his company again. I was pleased with the results.

After stripping wallpaper, we were left with missing joint tape and rough walls. Turner Paint retaped the joints and mudded all the walls to cover the rough, nicked areas. Due to the time limit of the Angie's List Big Deal, we did the sanding work ourselves after everything dried. The walls are now smooth and painted and look great. No one would guess how damaged they were. My only request is I wish they would have removed the light switch and outlet plates rather than mud them to the wall.

Truner came the first time and completed the mudding, taping and sanding of the repairs we needed to fix the cracks in the wall. Later, we had him come back and paint some interior doors and trim that needed attention. We painted the areas where the cracks were fixed but wanted professional help for some trim and doors that needed touch up. They did an excellent job and it's very difficult to match trim color (white). They were prompt efficient and everything looks great. Very satisfied with the work performed and recommend them.

He was very conscientious about contacting us to schedule work, showing up on time and doing quality work. I thought he did a good job repairing our drywall which was poorly done by the previous homeowner and doing mud and tape work on new drywall. The three hours purchased was not enough time to have him completely finish the significant amount of drywall work we had, so he wasn't able to do a final sanding, etc. because the mud needed additional dry time. He made excellent progress though. And we will definitely call him again to do interior drywall/painting work.

When he came to give the estimate after I had called him twice,he said he wanted $250 to do the texturing. We told him no. He said that texturing was a seperate job. We agreed to 3 hours work, but after a hour and a half he said he was done. I asked him why he couldn't come back tomorrow and texture the repair and he said again that was a seperate job. I always thought that when you said you were going to repair drywall that included texturing as the repair was not completed. I am very unhappy and feel that we were taken. He tried to make it a big deal but we have had repairs in the past and it is not a big deal. This is the second time we have bought a "deal" from Angie's list and the work was second rate. I will think twice before I buy another one.

It went great. They gave me a bid and then got started on the job soon after.

Ken was very professional and came to look at the project before he patched the holes. He called to postpone his arrival time twice, but brought a helper to finish in the allotted time. All in all, we would use him again.

I called them and they were very helpful and were willing to come over that day. After speaking with a friend I found out that the work I needed done would probably take longer than 3 hours so I decided to work with someone else that knew through a friend.

Ken came over promptly after I called him to give me an estimate if they could do the work for what had paid for the Big Deal that I had purchased. Based on the nature of the repair (which required texturing the ceiling) I paid and extra $100 for the work. I thought this was fair. He had people over at my house shortly thereafter to do the repair. The final work looked great. I have since hired Ken to do work at my sons house.
