+ -1 moreThey were punctual, professional, and their clean up was fantastic! Their full insurance coverage was not needed. The crew did a great job for a great price. Their bid was much lower than others, and their work was outstanding! I have already recommended them to friends and neighbors.

+ -1 moreThe work began one week late after signing the contract (6/13/2011) due to high, damaging winds in the area. This situation I completely understood but would of liked a call informing me. I had to call the company as I assumed the storms caused emergency situations and my call was not returned for two days. The crew arrived about 3pm June 23rd and had the nearly 40 foot maple and 2 other trees trimmed by 6:30pm. The work crew of 5 young men did an awesome job. They were very professional and efficient. The yard was cleaned so well you would never know trees had been cut down and trimmed. However, the stump grinder was not available on that day and the job would have to be done later. I called the owner's son, Anthony DeFoe, 3 times before the stump was ground down on July 14. The company was experiencing "crew problems" of which I understand as this is a dangerous, labor intensive job done in ridiculously high temperatures. A quick one minute phone call would of assured me my job was still on the schedule and not forgotten. Communication with the customer is definitely lacking. The actual work crew is excellent. All-in-all, my experience wasn't a gruesome ordeal dealing with a contractor some endure. The tree I wanted gone is gone and the 2 trimmed look much better. Better communications would of eased my frustrations and time expectations.

Description of Work: CUT A TREE WHICH HAD FALLEN IN MY FRONT YARD. WHEN TREE WAS PICKED UP AND HAULED OFF, REPRESENTATIVES OF THE COMPANY PROMISED TO DELIVER ENOUGH DIRT TO FILL HOLE BACK UP. THAT WAS BACK IN JAN. '05 APPROX. SINCE THEN HAVE ALSO TALKED TO THEM ON PHONE AND TO ONE OF THEIR SERVICE/ESTIMATOR PEOPLE IN FIELD, BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY DIRT AS OF YET TO FILL HOLE. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THEY LIED TO ME ABOUT COMING BACK WITH THE DIRT.
