Description of Work: Plumber fixed several dripping faucets and installed a new toilet. All of the guys at Plumbing Pro are very professional and knowledgeable. A couple of weeks after toilet installation, I had to call them back because water in the stool had started running about every 5 minutes. They came out promptly and adjusted the water level. I have had no further problems. I will definitely use their service again and have even sent them to install a new toilet for another family member.

Description of Work: called them to do some plumbing work. charge us $900 for the work. still had problems. called a referral from a friend to check over the work. that plumber's estimate was $200. had to have the work done again. They are over-priced and I felt like every time I turned around the plumber was trying to 'gig' us and upsell one thing after another. I won't ever use them again.

 + -1 moreBy finding an alternate drain pipe, the plumber saved me the hassle of having my basement floored jack-hammered and the old drain pipe replaced. The plumber arrived the same day I called and worked on the problem until it was fixed. The length of new pipe, to the alternate drain, came unglued--I only found it by accident--so he had to come back the next day to fix that. So far the arrangement is working well.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and fixed basement slop sink drain stoppage. He found that the old iron drain pipe, under the basement floor, had been crushed shut. He located a nearby drain pipe to which he rerouted the sink drain.

We got all the care information we needed to avoid costly and disruptive, destructive work in the future, and we got an analysis and a cleaning.

Description of Work: Installed new pipes under bathroom sink; old ones were leaking. He was on time, prompt, courteous and efficient. Immediately upon accessing the problem he gave me a price quote which I thought was excessively high but the work needed to be done. He did not have the part he needed and quickly left and returned to the warehouse to get the part. He handled the repair from start to finish including the trip away to get the part; all in less than an hour.

 + -1 moreExcellent office staff - friendly and efficient, and knows where their plumbers are at all times. They came out to fix the problem the same day I called. I have used this company for over 10 years. They are willing to go the extra mile, like the day my hot water heater blew its top. I couldn't believe how fast the plumber arrived and got things under control. They will call before arriving so I can sequester my yapping dogs. They go right to work and do a great job.
Description of Work: Fixed a malfunctioning toilet. Found problem, went to get part, returned and repaired the problem.

 + -1 moreI THINK AMI TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME AND THE SERVICEMAN THAT CAME TO MY HOME TOLD MY ASSISTANT THAT IT WOULD "BE A LONG DAY TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH." THEY DID NOT CLEANUP AFTER THEMSELVES AT ALL. THEY SOLDERED THE OLD WATER HEATER ON MY CEDAR DECK AND LEFT BLACK DOTS AND SILVER MATERIAL FROM ACTUALLY DOING THE SOLDERING. THEY DID NOT EVEN TAKE A HUGE BOX OF TRASH THAT THEY LEFT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY DRIVEWAY. THEY ALSO SHOWED UP TO THE JOB LATE ON TWO OCCASIONS AND WERE VERY UNCOOPERATIVE IN SPEAKING WITH ME. THE AMI SERVICE MAN ALSO TRIED TO CHARGE ME AN EXTRA $45 TO DRAIN THE OLD HEATER AND ANOTHER $87 FOR A SERVICE CHARGE. I AM SIMPLY UNHAPPY WITH AMI MECHANICAL IN GENERAL. THEY EVEN USED MY GOOD KITCHEN TOWEL TO CLEAN UP THE MESS AND USED MY OUTSIDE HOSE AND DID NOT PUT IT BACK AT ALL EVEN WHEN I SAID I HAD TROUBLE GETTING THE HOSE OFF OF THE OUTLET TO THE HOSE. HE DIDNT BOTHER TO PUT IT BACK ON EVEN THOUGH I TOLD HIM I HAVE ARTHRITIS.
Description of Work: I BOUGHT A WATER HEATER AT SEARS AND THEY HAVE AMI DO ALL THERE CONTRACTING WORK. I PAID SEARS FOR THE WATER HEATER AND ALL THE INSTALLATION COSTS. THEY SAID I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING FROM HERE ON OUT.
