Don't make the same mistake we made. We hired Pyramid Roofing to replace our roof and guttering after a microburst with large hail hit our area. After 3-1/2 months of one failure after another occurring, we think, are hopeful at least, that everything is done. That is except for the myriad of nails, screws, staples, pieces of shingles and trash we continue to find in our yard around the house. I have never seen or heard of a company that hires so many inept people. The only person we dealt with who actually did their job and seemed to so much as care about doing a good job was the salesperson we talked with, Dennis. Everyone else from the office staff, roofing crews, guttering crews, and especially the new owner, Matt, couldn't care less about doing a quality job. All they wanted to do was slap it on the house, get their money and leave you to deal with their poor workmanship. Fortunately, we knew how to repair the broken concrete on our front sidewalk where they broke three chunks out of it. Their "fix" was ineffective and came apart after two days. Oh, and by the way, if you have seen the TV ad about getting a $500 discount if you let them know you saw the ad. Forget about it! They don't stand behind their word. Do yourself a favor. Run far, far away from Pyramid Roofing. You'll be glad you did.

BUYER BEWARE: Behold my new $12,000 roof installed by Pyramid Roofing. You’ll notice that 1/3 of my roof is not done because, as Stephen Green tells me, “The flat roof is / was a lot newer than the rest of the roof and is in good condition therefore the reason of not replacing it.” He knew I was changing roof colors from tan to blue, but felt this was a sufficient explanation as to why my whole roof was not replaced. I didn’t really look at the estimate after my boss, the owner of a construction company with impeccable integrity, recommended Pyramid because he had a trouble free roof installation in 2005. I also didn’t notice this exclusion because I’d gotten three estimates and they were all in the same price range. If 1/3 of my roof was not included, shouldn’t the estimate have been markedly lower? Because of poor communication, lack of responsiveness, and sub par installation, I hired a roofing inspector to examine my new roof. He was the one who informed me that 1/3 of my roof was untouched. As he summed it up, “They put in the least effort possible on this job and hoped no one would notice.” Besides the incomplete roof, Pyramid installed leaf cover gutters over wood rot. My house was built in 1925 and I am very aware there is wood rot on all sides of my house. When I asked about the rotten wood, they told me there was no need for this repair “as it does not interfere with the installation of the new guttering.” After multiple emails, they agreed to replace the rotted fascia yesterday, 6/30/20. I got home and discovered they only replaced TWO BOARDS and just added more screws to the gutters! It felt like a drive by with them flipping me the bird, and then fully expecting that I would happily pay $12,000 for the courtesy of their visit. Pyramid Roofing considers my roof completed, but as you can see from the pictures, I’ve got a very expensive roof that won’t even pass inspection. I’ve now had to get estimates for carpentry that they should have taken care of and it’s going to cost me an additional $1,280. I’ll also need to get estimates for the unfinished part of my roof and that will run a couple thousand dollars. So, all totaled, I’m going to end up paying over $16,000 for my new roof and gutters on my little 1400 sq. ft. house. Pyramid Roofing claims to proudly stand behind their work. Well, would they post any of these pictures on their website as an example of their high standards?
