they were mean and hard to deal with. I had two bags out and was carrying a third to the curb. the driver sped up and passed me so I had to carry the bag down the street. The driver saw me and drove on past the bag and didn't pick it up' So I threw it into the car and started following. They saw me and sped up. Finally they came to a cul de sac so I had to pull in front of the truck to get him to stop. The man who was in the rear threatened me like he was going to hit me so I ran back to my car, hopped in and left. The driver then got out and wrote down my license number. I hope I don't get a ticket because I will fight it.

BUYER BEWARE! Compost Connection is a PAY UP FRONT - NO REFUNDS company. After you pay, Compost Connection may or may not be willing to pick up your waste at the agreed upon location. Week after week, the driver consistently refused to take my yard waste at the agreed upon location. Compost Connection gets mad when you use your extra bag coupons. I bought a pack of coupons and when I tried to use them, the driver knocked on my door at 6:30 at night to disparage me for putting out more than my two bags. I tried to explain that I paid for coupons for those three extra bags and that the coupons were on the bags like the office said to do. The Compost Connection driver was angry. He was upset about the location the pick up. He was upset that I put out extra bags. He was upset that he could see I had a pile of yard waste to clean up and would have more extra bags next week. Unless you are o.k. with angry men showing up at your door taking you to task for using the services you paid for, Compost Connection is not for you. When I called to cancel my service with Compost Connection, the woman who answered the phone was rude and vulgar. She had her rapid-fire, pre-practiced response of “No refunds. It’s on our website” ready to go. Based on how I have been treated by this company, I imagine she deals with angry customers a lot, but it does not excuse how she treated me. It cost me $145 to learn about how badly Compost Connection treats their customers. Please think twice before you give Compost Connection your money. It is no accident they make you pay up front and do not offer refunds.

Compost Connection has not picked up our yard waste bags for the past two weeks. This week, I was looking out the window when they rolled by and didn't pick up our bags. When I called about the lack of service, I was told repeatedly that five bags had been picked up in the past two weeks. They refused to listen to my story and suggested I pay extra for the two weeks when they didn't perform the services I'd paid for to make up for the bags not being picked up. We pay for yard waste removal for 52 weeks out of the year and only use their services 10-15 times tops, and on the weeks we need their services they refuse to take the bags. I've asked to speak to the owner with no response. Beware of this company - they are a sham. I've filed a formal complaint with the BBB.

lI have used Compost Connection's annual program for several years and am very pleased with their service. They offer 3 different programs, so you can chose the plan that fits your composting needs. They also offer a one-time pickup service. I just put my yard waste by the curb on my regular trash/recycling day, and it's gone!

They are very reliable and do a great job. I have never had a problem with this company. I highly recommend them if you need compost service.

Great service and pretty fair priced. I think it can be a tad bit pricey but well worth it.

They have a reasonable price. They have different options for different numbers of bags. In the spring and fall, they have more bags for leaf collection.

They do good work and they have good punctuality. I would use them again in the future.
