Description of Work: we have used andy on call several times, but will not in the future. Very inconsistent in pricing, and they don't back their work completely. Pricing GREATLY depends on what person come sand over to see what work there is to be done. Some times they will work the same day they come over and bid a price, other times they come over, look at potential tasks then leave and send you a bid by e mail, after you were under the impression they were working that day! most recently they bid $2000 on about 5 hours of work......ridiculous.

Description of Work: We had several damaged areas (wood rot) on our large shed and shed door which is under our deck. The damaged areas were replaced with new wood and seams sealed (not painted). He also added a piece of wood between the shed and attached to the deck stairs to better secure/stabilize the deck stairs (it is a very high deck).

Description of Work: He hung up some curtin rods.

Description of Work: I used Andy OnCall for handyman services. I wanted to have a dishwasher installed and the installation people said i needed a new valve installed under the sink. Andy OnCall came out and informed me they were mistaken.

Description of Work: We got an estimate from Andy OnCall to do a repair around our chimney box.

Description of Work: Rick replaced the sub floor and underlay in the bathroom, installed the linoleum flooring and set up a new toilet.

Description of Work: I used Andy OnCall to change a whole bunch of light bulbs that are up really high on a vaulted ceiling. A couple of the lights still were not working after he changed the bulbs and he thought that it might be an electrical issue so he suggested that I have an electrician come out. He also installed some rubber flooring.

Description of Work: Roger finished the installation of one very large fixed window and 2 smaller side windows in my kitchen this afternoon. The large window had been leaking for years. I can't even count the number of people that looked at it but didn't want to try the repair. I joined Angie's List and found Andy OnCall gave them a call and they sent Roger out to estimate the job. He gave me a straight forward explanation of what he thought was wrong and wrote out a detailed estimate and list of supplies needed. As soon as everything came in the installation was scheduled. After a few rain delays Roger arrived to start the job. He explained everything he was doing and was very professional. He had to tear off the old trim, which my husband had used at least ten tubes of caulk trying to stop the leak. In one day he had 75% of the work done and returned the next day to finish the installation of the windows, siding, trim and then caulked everything. I can't believe we put this repair off for so long. Roger made it look easy and and my kitchen windows are beautiful. He worked very quickly, I thought he would be here at least three days but finished in two. Just can't say enough good things about the job & Roger. So good to have this repair taken care of.

Description of Work: Exterior painting of front of house Window Frames x 4, garage door frames x 2, house entry door frame, and railing along the front stairs up to house. I had also been told the large bolts that were in the railing that were rusty, would get an anti-rust cover over them to prevent further rust under the white paint.

Description of Work: I have a drop ceiling in my kitchen and the grid became twisted and some tiles began to sag. Later on several fell. At first I had difficulty getting anyone to bid on the job and finally Steven Atkins (and I have forgotten the name of his company) suggested I try Andy OnCall and talk to Misty. When I talked to her, and I think it was two days ago, she was able to give me a time for this Saturday morning. A representative came to my house, assessed the job, gave me an estimate and did the work. I went to Home Depot and got the replacement tiles while he repaired the grid. He replaced not only the tiles that had fallen but also some that had been stained by water over the years and this involved cutting them to fit and installing them. I asked for his name but he said just call the company if I needed anything else. I was very satisfied with the work and the cost and would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: Contracted to clean approximately 32' of gutter that I can't reach with my ladder.

Description of Work: I have used them twice now. Once to fix some wood rot and another time they fixed some caulking in a high hard to reach place, fixed my cabinets, and installed some new railing on my front steps.

Description of Work: I called them to come out to clean the gutters. They tried to up sell me a gutter guard system and they did not do a very good job at cleaning the gutters.

Description of Work: Salt and dirt collected in pits in the garage floor which made it impossible to keep it clean. The garage floor required refinishing and there were holes in the garage that required drywall work. The interior garage walls also needed painting.

Description of Work: The basement had been "pulled apart for 2-years" due to water issues. Carpet rolled to one side of the room & drywall ripped away from walls. Our house (that we purchased for the finished basement) had a "in construction" basement for 2-years. We installed a dry basement system to control the water issues & then waited until we had funds to "fix" the finished part. Andy on Call came in to give us a bid & listened to my ideas on making the finished basement better by adding a closet or dividing the room. They asked questions & came up with the best idea in regards to time/space/funds. We went with the closet idea & fixing the walls that had been ripped out for the window well drainage & the boxed in area around the water shutoff valve. 1. Frame and Sheetrock partition wall - install door in wall - Make ready for paint (created a closet) 2. Build access to water main shutoff - drywall - make ready for paint 3. Replace drywall in two spots under basement windows & make ready for paint 4, Replace all trim in basement.
