Description of Work: the provider seriously underestimated the amount it would take to replace the deck on my town house. I understand finding issues once you start a project however the "found" issues were ones already discussed and I thought was part of the price. additional 1000 was needed to finish the project.

Description of Work: I couldn't be any happier with the entire project from beginning to end. The office staff was wonderful and Tim, who did the work, was fabulous. His workmanship was great and he was very interested in being sure he was doing the work as I expected.

Description of Work: This was a very good experience. We had a railing on our deck leaning out and obviously NOT providing sufficiently safe support. They came out and proposed a solution and explained exactly what would be done. I did not accept the proposal immediately since I wanted to discuss it with my wife. | |I called back once we decided and was able to schedule the work in about a week. We have had a few other contractors (not on Angie's list) look at this problem and known of them ever called back or showed up. They showed up as promised and it was very easy to talk with the contractor. He did the work quickly, but completely. | |The only thing I wish he had done differently was to ask/remind me to give him the coupon from Angie's list magazine. I almost forgot and that was worth $50. | |I am very pleased with the work and he also suggested how I can reinforce the other sides of the deck before we have the same problem. | |I will definitely call them again when an appropriate project comes up.

Description of Work: Had a small deck rebuilt. Told it would take 2 whole days and maybe more. Worker called in for price quote and I was $1100 minus coupon. Worker spent a total of 8 hours plus parts trip total. Left at 3 first day and wanted paid by noon second day. Job was completed but too much $ for what we got. Kind of a scam with the whole call the office for the quote. I think the worker tells the office it's a bigger job than it is and the worker gets it done quick and onto the next job. I think worker padded job to home office. Never again.

Description of Work: Replaced wooden steps leading from French doors onto patio.

Description of Work: Spray painted ceiling in basement and also built a small deck and stairs to patio.

Description of Work: They patched a 18" square of sheetrock in the garage ceiling and fixed the toilet. They put the wrong flapper valve in the toilet, so it continued to leak water. When I called them back about this, they delayed returning for the correction for several days. I had to insist.

Description of Work: Ken came out and raised a small deck and stairs to cover the crumbling concrete stairs in front of our house. The estimate was fair and pretty accurate. Ken was very polite, kind and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Ken gave us the options for finishing touches on the railing and was able to make adjustments to the height of the stair string to accommodate my handicap. All receipts for the materials were provided on request. Very well done.
