Tyler, Nick's son performed the mold tests on our basement. He was respectful and thorough. Tyler answered all my questions. The report looked professional & provided all the information my mold abatement professionals needed. Since Nick's doesn't do mold abatement, they seem to be more objective than someone trying to land an abatement project.

I asked Nick's to do an air quality test on the property he checked for mold and other organism and found no elevation in the spore count. What I was hoping for was a test for chemical vapors or fumes in the air to try to determine what I'm dealing with.

It is extremely important to choose a company to test your air for mold who does NOT also do remediation. Otherwise you can't always trust that the mold truly needs remediation. Some amount of mold is normal and acceptable. We had another company test our air and tell us we needed to spend $3000 to eliminate any and all mold. Suspicious of their motives, we called in Nick's and got the truth: everything is A-Ok. Nick and his son were very professional and delivered exactly what they promised with a great deal of expertise and zero ulterior motives.

The gentleman was very professional and very knowledgeable. I received my results very quickly. As with every company I received quotes from, the price seems pretty high, especially just for him to look around for mold (which I can do) and to run an air sample test.

Good Experience. Nick was very helpful in explaining various things, and gave advice on my crawl space and odors in general. Mold test was negative. Yea! Price pretty much in line with others, but still seems a little high.
