Description of Work: This is too long to go into detail. Suffice it to say, that work was done in an unsatisfactory manner with corners cut. Shawn McNew is the area representative for Tejas Stone. We used Tejas Stone because of the recommendation of our daughter, an architect in Kansas City. We assumed that everything would be per Tejas Stone standards since he was the area representative. We assume that the stone used was left-over material used on other jobs, since he went to 3 different cities at 3 different times to "pick up the stone from the truck". He insists he has receipts proving he paid for the stone, but we have not seen them. We began to have our doubts when we compared the work being done to the specifications on the Tejas Stone website. We finally had a report prepared by Norton and Schmidt (structural engineers) that pointed out the defects and also the specifications from the Tejas Stone website.
