Description of Work: Blamed us for issue. Stated the dig shouldn't be allowed to urinate on unit. The dog can't since we installed a fence around it when we got it.In 95 degree heat said it would take a week to get part found out from another company the part was in town. They then brought the wrong part and had to wait another 3 days. Home depot fired them from doing contract work from them due to poor service.

Description of Work: Our AC went down during the hottest week of the summer. They came out the same day we called and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately the parts had to be ordered and took several days to get. But as soon as they were in they installed them and had it up and running. The technician was very sorry for the delay even though it was not their fault. We have found a great company to use in the future.

Description of Work: Fixed my central air conditioning unit. It was making noise, but the fan was spinning. They replaced a capacitor.

Description of Work: I got an estimate from Apex Heating & Air Conditioning to replace the central air conditioning.

Description of Work: APEX replaced our entire Heating and Cooling system with a new Trane system. This included a new compressor outside, a new furnace and air handler inside.

Description of Work: I called Mike Barker at Apex for a free estimate to replace my furnace and air conditioner. He showed up on time and put on "booties" before coming into my house so he wouldn't track in any dirt. He was friendly and easy to talk with and very knowledgeable and professional. In our discussion he went into great detail about how things worked and patiently answered all my questions and concerns. He took measurements for my H&C system components and checked all the ductwork throughout the house to accurately calculate the load requirements. He provided a folder with information about the system I wanted, and wrote out a bid for me on the spot. His price was lower than the other 2 estimates I had for the same size system. I decided to wait until summer to have the work done, and when I subsequently called Mike back he went out of his way to try to help, even going into the office on Saturday, his day off, to get paperwork for me. He called me back promptly when I left him messages, and worked to rearrange jobs to try to get me scheduled when I wanted. He is a genuinely nice guy with real integrity, and even spoke positively about his competitor, telling me he didn't mind if he lost a bid to them because he knew they would do a good job for me. Here's a rare thing - an honest guy who puts his customer's needs before a sale, and I like that.
